Özet

Günümüzde insan ve çevrenin birbirinden ayrılamaz olduğu bilinci giderek yaygınlaşmakta olup, müşteri tatmini çevre unsurlarını da kapsamaktadır. Çevre unsurlarının temelini ise, çevre sorunları ve çevre kirliliği konuları oluşturmaktadır. Son zamanlarda çevre kirliliği konusunun oldukça ön plana çıkmasıyla, işletmelerde çevre faktörü/kavramı gündeme gelmiştir. İşletmeler, çevre boyutunu da kapsayan endüstriyel faaliyetin her aşamasında Çevre Yönetim Sistemlerini uygulamaktadır. Bu sistemlerin, çevre kalitesini yükseltmek ve kirliliği azaltmak gibi ekonomik yararları da bulunmaktadır. Ürünlerin ve süreçlerin tasarım aşamasından, üretim planlama, stok kontrolü ve ürünlerin dağıtımı gibi tüm üretim yönetimi kararları ile işletmede çevre yönetimi ilkelerinin bütünleştirilmesi ve değerlendirilmesi, işletmelerin çevreye olumsuz etkilerinin azaltılmasında önemli fırsatlar sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle işletme- çevre ilişkileri ele alınmış olup, daha sonra işletmelerde sosyal sorumluluk alanları ve buna bağlı bazı kavramlara yer verilmiştir. İşletmelerin çevre yönetimi, çevreye duyarlı üretim konularına yaklaşımları ve konuya bakış açıları ele alınmıştır. Çevre korumasına yönelik geliştirilen çevre yönetim sistemleri ve standartları incelenerek, işletmeler üzerindeki etkileri teorik olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Uygulama kapsamında ise; çevreye duyarlı üretim başlığı altında; işletmelerin üretim faktörleri, üretim faaliyetleri ve bunların uygulama düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi konuları araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca çevre yönetim sistemi standartlarının (belgelendirmenin) işletmelere sağlayacağı yararlar, yöneticilerin statüleri dikkate alınarak, bunun işletmelere olan etkileri ve uygulama yapılan K.Maraş, Adana ve G.Antep illerindeki mevcut durum incelenmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda işletmelerde üretim konusunda çevre bilincinin son yıllarda arttığı gözlenmiştir. Fakat uygulama yapılan üç ilde de bu konuda özellikle çevre yönetim sistemi standartları belgelerinin henüz yeterli sayıya ulaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Today the consciousness that human-being and environment are inseperable from each other has become widespread and also has included the subjects like satisfaction of customers and environmental factors. The bases of environmental factors are environmental problems and pollution. Nowadays, with the given attentions on pollution, in managements the environmental factor/concept has become a current issue. The managements, at every phase of industrial doings that contains the environment, use the Environmental Management Systems. These systems also have some economical benefits like increasing the quality of the environment/nature and decreasing the pollution. The integration and the evaluation of all the decisions in the management in production; like from the planning of the products and their process to the production planning, the check of stocks and the distributing of the products; and the principles of environmental management have ensured some important opportunities in decreasing the negative effects of managements to the environment. In this work, first, the relation between the management and the environment is considered; then, departments for social responsibility in the managements and related to this some concepts are included. The environmental directions of manamgements, their approaches to the subjects related to the products which are sensitive to the nature/environment and their point of view are taken into consideration. Environmental management systems and standards which are developed for the environmental/natural protection are examined and the effects on the managements are theoretically considered. In the application scope, under the title of being sensitive to the environment, the productions factors of managements, business of production and the evaluation of their application levels are researched. Besides, the benefits of the satandards(documents) of environmental management system to the managements, the effects of these benefits, and the current condition in the cities K.Maras, Adana, G.Antep that are carried out is examined by considering the positions of the administrators. As a result of the application, it is observed that lately, the environmental consciousness is increasing in production of the managements. However, in this three cities, which this work is carried out, it is fixed that on this issue the documents especially about the standards of the environmental management system have not reached to the sufficient numbers, yet.
