Özet

Bu arastırmada, web tabanlı uzaktan egitim sistemlerinde ögrenenlere sunulaniçerik, sıra ve hız kontrollerinin ögrenenin akademik basarısı üzerindeki etkilerininbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıstır. Arastırmanın genel amacına yönelik olarak hazırlananweb tabanlı dersler, Çorum Meslek Yüksekokulu'nda ögrenim gören ögrencilerüzerinde uygulanmıstır.Arastırmanın test yapısı, öntest ve sontest modelinden yararlanılaraktasarlanmıstır. Deneyin örneklemi, Çorum Meslek Yüksekokulunda 2005-2006ögretim yılında ögrenim gören 30 ar kisilik 3 gruba ayrılmıs toplam 90 ögrencidenolusmaktadır. Bilgisayar Ag Sistemleri dersi web tabanlı olarak 3 farklı kontrolseçenekleriyle hazırlanmıs ve 3 gruba ayrı ayrı uygulanmıstır. Birinci gruba içerikkontrolü, ikinci gruba içerik ve hız kontrolleri, üçüncü ve son gruba da içerik, hız vesıra kontrollerinden tümü ile hazırlanan dersler uygulanmıstır. Basarı testleri ile eldeedilen bulgularla yapılan istatistiksel hesaplamalardan, birinci grubun, diger ikigruptan farklı düzeyde, ikinci ve üçüncü grupların ise esit düzeylerde basarıyı artırıcıetkiye sahip oldugu görülmüstür.

This research thesis investigates content, pacing and sequence controlsoffered in web-based distance learning systems and their effects on the academicsuccess of learners. The research was performed at Corum Vocational School usingprepared web-based courses and volunteer student participants who took thesecourses.In this research, test structure was designed using preliminary and final testmodels. Sampling of research consists of three equal student groups who hadregistered for 2005-2006 semester at Corum Vocational School. Each group consistsof 30 students; thus entire sampling contains 90 students. In this study, ?ComputerNetwork Systems course? was prepared as a web-based course with three differentcontrol options and applied to three student groups. Courses prepared with contentcontrol were applied to the first group. Second group was tested with the coursesprepared with content and pace controls. Finally, the third group was examined usingthe courses prepared with content, pace and sequence controls.As a result, statistical calculations were performed using the findings fromachievement test. It is shown that the second and third group has a equal effect toincrease the success. On the other hand, the first group has a different effect fromsecond and third groups to boost up the success.
