Özet

Bu araştırma, dershanelerde OKS ve ÖSS programlarında görev yapanöğretmenlerin öğretmen yeterlilik düzeyleri ile mesleki doyum puanları arasındaki ilişkiyiortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırmanın evreni 2006-2007 öğretim yılında İstanbul ilinde OKS ve ÖSSdershanelerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerdir. Araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturanöğretmenler İstanbul ilinin, Bakırköy, Maltepe, Pendik, Kadıköy, Bahçelievler ilçelerindebulunan toplam 47 dershaneden seçilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 510 dershaneöğretmeni oluşturmuştur.Araştırmanın verileri, araştırıcı tarafından geliştirilen kişisel bilgileri içeren 16maddelik anket formu, yine araştırıcı tarafından geliştirilen Dershane Öğretmenleri YeterlilikÖlçeği ve Kuzgun'un Mesleki Doyum Ölçeği aracılığıyla toplanmıştır.Araştırmada ilk olarak Dershane Öğretmenleri Yeterlilik Ölçeği geliştirilerek,geçerlilik güvenirlilik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Geliştirilen ölçeğin KMO (Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin) örnekleme katsayısı 0,779 ve Bartlett test of Sphericity değeri ise 3393,179 olarakbulunmuştur. Değerler .01 değerinde anlamlıdır.Ölçeğin tümü için Cronbach Alpha katsayısı ?=0,78'dir. Ölçeğin tüm ölçek için testtekrar test korelasyon katsayısı r=0,821 olarak (p<.01) anlamlı bulunmuştur. AraştırmadaPearson Korelasyon Katsayısı, bağımsız grup t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) vePost hoch LSD testi istatistik teknikleri kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonunda öğretmenlerin yeterlilik düzeyleri ve mesleki doyum düzeyleriarasında, ters yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Öğretmen yeterlilik düzeyleri yüksekolanların, mesleki doyum düzeyleri düşük çıkmıştır. Diğer bir ifade ile mesleki doyumdüzeyi yüksek olan öğretmenlerin, öğretmen yeterlilik düzeyleri düşük olarak saptanmıştır.Araştırmada, Dershane Öğretmenleri Yeterlilik ölçeği puanlarında; cinsiyet, ailedebaşka öğretmen bulunması, mezun olduğu okul, mezuniyet durumu, kıdem, İstanbul dışındaIVgörev yapmış olma, dershanede görev yaptığı program, katıldığı hizmet içi eğitim, takipettiği süreli yayın değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklar saptanmıştır. Araştırmada, MeslekiDoyum Ölçeği puanlarında ise dershanede görev yaptığı program, takip ettiği süreli yayındeğişkenine göre anlamlı farklar tespit edilmiştir.

This research has been conducted with the purpose of defining the relationshipbetween job satisfaction and efficacy levels of OKS and OSS private courses teachers.The population of the research is the teachers working in private courses in İstanbulduring 2006-2007 academic year. The sample has been chosen among 47 private courses inBakırköy, Maltepe, Pendik, Kadıköy, Bahçelievler in İstanbul. There has been 510 teachersin total.The data has been collected via, sixteen- item personal information form and PrivateCourse Teachers? Efficacy Questionnaire, which are both developed by the researcher andJob Satisfaction Questionnaire which is developed by Kuzgun.At the first phase of the study, Private Course Teachers? Efficacy Questionnaire hasbeen developed and the validity and reliability tests have been conducted. The samplingsufficiency coefficient of Kaiser- Meyer- Olkin of the questionnaire has found to be 0,779.Barlett test of Sphericity value has been 3393,179 which is meaningful at the level of p<.01.The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the whole qustionnaire has found to be .78. Thetest-retest reliability of the questionnaire has been r=.821, meaningful at the level of p<.01.During the data analysis, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, between group t-test, one-wayanalysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD Post- hoch Comparison tests have been applied.At the end of the research, an opposite significant correlation has been foundbetween the efficacy and job satisfaction levels of teachers. The teachers with high efficacyscores had lower job satisfaction scores. In other words, efficacy levels of teachers, who hashigher job satisfaction levels, have found to be lower.VIIn the study, significant differences have been found in the Private CoursesTeachers? Efficacy Questionnaire scores depending on different variables such as gender,existence of another teacher in family, university graduated from, seniority, workingexperience outside Istanbul, subject area taken part at the private course, professionalityrelated workshops attended and purchasing periodicals on the subject area.In the study, significant differences have been found in the Job SatisfactionQuestionnaire scores depending on the subject area and purchasing a periocal on the subjectarea.
