68 6. SUMMARY The research was made for the aim of fxing the effects of the circuit training method on the development of general strength in women basketball players between the ages of 14 and 16. So, for the research, 32 women basketball player was observed and 16 of them was the research group and the other 16 is the control group. At the begining of the research, the physical characteristics of the research and control groups was determined and motoric spor tests was made. The hand dinomometer, the leg dinomometer, V02 (Vital capacity) and body fat (% measurements were made. After these measurements, the research group was made the regular weekly technical training. After 8 weeks the measurements were repeated and the results were evaluated. We can summarize the results like that : 1 - The research group is important after the circuit training program of the players and the hand dinomometer measurement results are statistically important. This result means that the comprehension force of the players which is effective when shooting increases at an important degree. 2 - Whith the results of the research groups leg dinomometer measurement, the players who are making circuit training method were increased the jumping leg museles maximal strength and the speed of contraction was increased very importantly. With the comparison made before and after the training the difference is found very important. The results of motoric spor tests using for the measurement of jumping strength supports the results of the leg dinomometer. 3 - The research group players vital capacity group avarage was increased after trainings. So, this is useful for the circuit tranings vital capacity development. 4 - The research group players avarage of body fat % measurements after the training was decreased. This statistical analysis was important. But the weight avarages didn't change. As a result, the circuit traning method supplied an important strength69 development on the basketball players and there is an increase in muscle blocks. 5 - The difference between the group avarages before and after the traning in all motoric spor tests are found important. As a result, the traning program which is formed with 8 stations that is used in this research was supported with motoric sport tests (or field tests). 6 - The test battery results which are used in the research and formed with 8 stations are differentiated before and after the training and these results are also in the training and these results are also in the training method. This difference is also statistically important. 7 - The results of the spor tests and laboratory tests of the control group players who are making technical training was evaluated before and after the training, the difference between the group avarages are foud unimportant statistically. After all these evaluations, the circuit training method is an effective and current training method. After all these evaluations, the circuit traning method can be accepted an effective and current training method in the general strength development of the basketball players between the ages of 14 and 16..
