Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı İlköğretim 6.sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersindebilgisayar kullanımının öğrencilerin erişi düzeylerine, kalıcılığa ve derse karşıtutumlarına etkisini belirlemektir.Deneysel olarak yapılan bu araştırma, 2006-2007 eğitim öğretim yılının1. döneminde Bolu ili, Dörtdivan ilçesindeki Merkez Şehit Orhan Yalçınİlköğretim Okulunda Fen ve Teknoloji dersinin 2. ünitesinde uygulanmıştır. Buokulda 6-B sınıfındaki 27 öğrenci deney grubu ve 6-C 26 öğrenci kontrol grubuolmak üzere 53 öğrenci rastgele yöntemle belirlenmiştir.Gruplar arasında çeşitlideğişkenlere göre denklik sağlanmıştır.Deney grubunda bilgisayar kullanılarak,kontrol grubunda ise bilgisayar kullanılmadan ders işlenmiştir.Araştırmanın verileri, 30 soruluk başarı testi, 28 soruluk tutum ölçeği veyarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. 30 sorudan oluşan vearaştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen testin ön deneme sonuçlarına göre güvenilirliğiaraştırmacı tarafından Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR20) güvenilirlik katsayısı ilehesaplanmış ve KR-20 güvenilirlik katsayısı 0,73 bulunmuştur. Tutum ölçeğiOğuz(2000) tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Ölçek 28 maddeden oluşan beşli likert tipibir ölçektir. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı 0,86 bulunmuştur. Yarıyapılandırılmış görüşme formu da araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmıştır.Verilerinanalizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve t-testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırmada şu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.1. Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde bilgisayar kullanılan grubun erişileri ilebilgisayar kullanılmayan grubun erişileri arasında deney grubu lehineanlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.2. Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde bilgisayar kullanılan grubun erişilerindekikalıcılık ile bilgisayar kullanılmayan grubun erişilerindeki kalıcılıklararasında bir fark bulunamamıştır.3. The aim of this study is to find out the effects of using computers inscience and technology courses at 6th grades of primary schools to students?average scores between the pre-test and post-test results, their remembranceand attitudes towards the course.This is an empirical study which was conducted in the educational year of2006-2007 in Bolu province, Dörtdivan district, Merkez Şehit Orhan Yalçınprimary school during science and technology course for the second unit of thecourse book.27 students attending the class 6-B were taken as the experimentalgroup and the 26 students attending 6-C were taken as the control group. Withthis method, 53 students were chosen randomly, and equality between thegroups with respect to some variables was ensured.Computers were used for the experimental group during the flow of thecourse, but as for the control group, there was no use of computers.The data for the study was obtained using a achievement test consistingof 30 questions, an attitude scale consisting of 28 questions and a semiconstructedinterview form. According to the pre-test results of the testconsisting of 30 questions and develop by the researcher, the reliability wascalculated using the KR20 formula, and it was found to be 0,73.The semi-constructed interview form was developed by the researcherhimself, and the attitude scale was developed by Oğuz(2000). It is a likert typescale consisting of 28 items, and Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficiency for thescale was found to be 0,86. A t-test, standard deviation and average scoreswere used during the analysis of the data.According to the results of the study the outcomes below have beenfound:1. Firstly, there is a meaningful difference between the pretest andpost test results of the groups using computers during thecourse and the group not using in favor of the first one.2. Secondly, there is no difference between the remembrance levelof the students using computers in science and technologycourses and the ones not using.3. Lastly, no meaningful difference could be found towards sciencebetween the ones using computers and the ones not usingthem.Key WordsAchievement, remembrance, attitude
