Özet

?Cemil Meriç'e Göre Toplumlarda Dinî Hayat? adlı bu çalışma `Giriş' ve `Sonuç' dışında üç temel bölümden oluşmaktadır.Çalışmanın `Giriş' kısmında araştırmanın problemi, amacı ve önemi, metodu ve kaynakları, Cemil Meriç'in hayatı, eserleri, din ve toplum görüşlerine değindik.Birinci bölümde, Cemil Meriç'in fikirleri doğrultusunda doğu toplumlarından Hindu toplumunun dinî hayatını şekillendiren kutsal kitaplar, ruhban sınıfı ve kastlar sistemine değinilmiştir. Buna ilave olarak Hindu dünya görüşüne alternatif dinî hayat tarzları ile Budist ve Cainist toplumlarının dinî hayatı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca Doğu toplumları ile Batı toplumları arasında bir köprü vazifesi gören kadim İran toplumunun dinî hayatı ele alınan konular arasındadır.İkinci bölümde, Cemil Meriç'in perspektifinden Yahudi toplumunun ?seçilmiş kavim? anlayışı ve kutsal kitap Tevrat çerçevesinde tevhid merkezli şekillenen dinî hayat tarzı incelenmiştir. Buna ek olarak Hıristiyan toplumların dinî hayatında kilise kurumunun önemine değinilmiş, Batı toplumlarının manevi yaşantılarında sekülerleşme evreleri olarak Hıristiyan, burjuva ve sosyalist dünya görüşleri ele alınmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde, Meriç'in bakış açısından Osmanlı toplumunun dinî hayatının ?Kur'an?, ?ümmet? ve ?cihat? merkezli olduğuna değinilmiştir. Buna ek olarak Türk toplumunun manevi hayatında ?aydın? unsurunun etkileri, 1960 sonrası ideolojiler sonucunda ortaya çıkan kutuplaşmalar olarak sağ ve sol diyalektiği, toplumun dinî hayatında etki eden dinî hareketlerden ?Mevlevilik?, ?Rifaîlik? ve ?Nurculuk? unsurları ele alınmıştır.Sonuç olarak tezimizde Cemil Meriç'in ifadesine göre Doğu-Batı toplumları bir insanın beyninin iki eşit parçasına benzetmekte olup ancak bütüncül düşünüldüğü zaman bir anlam ifade ederler.

This study which is named ? The Religious Life of the Societies According to Cemil Meriç? apart from ?Introduction? and ?Conclusion?, consists of three basic chapters.In the Introduction, it is tried to give some information about the problem, the aim, the importance, the sources and the method of the survey. It is also studied Cemil Meriç?s life, his works and thoughts about religion and society.In the first Chapter, it is referred to sacred books, clergy and cast system which are shaping Indian societys? religious life according to Cemil Meriç. Moreover, it is referred to Buddhist and Jainist religious life which are alternative life styles to the Indian philosophy of the life. Beside this it is considered the religious life of ancient Iran which is undertaking being bridge between eastern and western societies.In the second Chapter, it is studied that Jewish religious life which is shaped as the center of monotheism with the concept of ?chosen people? and the concept of ?sacred book? namely Torah according to Cemil Meriç views. Moreover it is mentioned that the importance of church institution in Christian societies and it is considered that Christian, bourgeois and socialist paradigmas which have been the phases of the secularization in the spiritual life of the western communities.In the third Chapter, it is mentioned that ?Quran?, ?ummah? and ?jihad? are the key words of the religious life of Ottoman community. Furthermore it is considered that the effects of ?intellectuals? in the Turkish societys? spiritual life, Rightist-Leftist confliction which are derived from ideologies seen after 1960 and the effects of ?Mawlawiyyah?, ?Rifaiyyah? and ?Nurjuluk? as the religious movements on the Turkish religious life.As the result of our survey, Eastern and Western communities are like equal parts of the human brain and they express total meaning when they were thought together.
