65 7. ÖZET Bu çalışmada toplam 1620 adet damxzlxk broyler yumurtasında inkubasyonda nem düzeyinin çıkım gücüne etkileri üç bölüm halinde incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde 40.0-49.9, 50.0-59.9, 60.0-69.9 ve 70- 79.9 g olmak üzere 4 farklı yumurta ağırlık grubu oluşturulmuştur, özgül ağırlıkları ölçülen yumurtalar kırılarak kabuk ağırlığı, kabuk kalınlığı, ak ve sarı ağırlıkları belirlenerek şu fenotipik korelasyonlar bulunmuştur: özgül ağırlık ile yumurta ağırlığı, kabuk yüzdesi, kabuk kalınlığı arasında -0.20, 0.45, 0.31; yumurta ağırlığı ile kabuk ak ve sarı yüzdeleri arasında ise sırasıyla -0.26, 0.49 ve -0.45'lik korelasyonlar bulunmuştur (P

67 8. İNGİLİZCE ÖZET (SUMMARY) The effect of egg weight, egg specific gravity and incubation humidity levels on hatchability. The effect on incubator's humidity on hatchability was studied in broiler breeder flock. Study was carried out in 3 experiment which dependent on each other. Total of 1620 eggs were used. In experiment 1, eggs were divided 4 different weight groups. The weight of groups were 40.0-49.9, 50.0-59.9, 60.0- 69.9 and over then 70.0-79.9 g. After the measuring specific gravity, the eggs were broken and their shell weight, shell thickness, albumen and yolk weight were determined in each group. The phenotypic correlations were calculated among the component of eggs measured. These were -0.20, 0.45, 0.31 between specific gravity and egg weight, percent shell, shell thickness and -0.26, 0.49,-0.45 between egg weight and shell %, albumen % and yolk % respectively (P< 0.001). In experiment 2 eggs were grouped in 3 different weight as 42-48, 52-58 and 62-68 g. using 3 incubator humidity was adjusted to 44, 56 and 66 % in each. The same number of eggs in all weight groups were incubated in each humidity levels. Eggs weight loss (6., 12., 18. days of incubation) and hatchability were determined in each humidity levels for each weight groups. The result indicate that the incubators humidity levels had an effect on egg weight loss during the first 18S8 days for all groups in experiment. The hatchability was decreased when the egg weight loss was less than 12 % (P< 0.001) while hatchability was maximum for all weight groups when the egg weight loss approximately 12 % during incubation. Hatchability (P and weight loss (P1.080>) and incubated. It was found that eggs with the lowest specific gravities had the highest weight loses and lowest hatchabilities. In conclusion, hatchability has affected by incubation humidity levels, egg weight, egg weight loss and specific gravity. It can be possible to say that depending on weight and shell characteristics of hatching eggs to adjust incubator's humidity level increases hatchability.
