Özet

Bu araştırmada, sınıf öğretmenlerinin değer yönelimleri tespit edilerek, hangi değerleri öğrencilerine aktarmak istedikleri çeşitli değişkenlerle ortaya koyulmuştur. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmanın evrenini, Zonguldak İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Ereğli ilçe merkezinde, 2008?2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında resmi ve özel ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 327 sınıf öğretmeni, örneklemi ise 295 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır.Sınıf öğretmenlerinin değerlerini ölçmek için Schwartz'ın geliştirdiği ve Demirutku (2004) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan Portre Değerler Anketi, sınıf öğretmenlerinin aktarmak istediği değerleri ölçmek amacıyla Demirutku'nun (2007) doktora tezinde geliştirdiği anket kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların demografik özellikleri kişisel bilgi formu ile tespit edilmiştir.Verilerin analizi SPSS 13.0 istatistiksel analiz yazılımı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümünde frekans ve yüzde dağılım tabloları, ilişkisiz örneklemler t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır.Sınıf öğretmenlerinin en yüksek Evrensellik, en düşük Güç değerine önem verdikleri görülmüştür. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin değer yönelimlerinde cinsiyete göre; Yaşamdan Haz Alma ve Güvenlik; yaşa göre Uyarılım, Evrensellik ve Geleneksellik; medeni duruma göre, Başarı ve Uyma; çocuk sahibi olma durumuna göre Başarı; yetişirken anne babasını kaybetme durumuna göre Yaşamdan Haz Alma, Evrensellik, Yardımseverlik ve Geleneksellik değerlerinde anlamlı farklılıklar görülmüştür. Doğum yeri, görev yapılan okul türü ve büyüdüğü aile türü bağımsız değişkenlerine göre sınıf öğretmenlerinin değer yönelimlerinde herhangi bir farklılık görülmemiştir.Sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğrencilerine en çok aktarmayı istedikleri değerin Başarı, öğrencilerine aktarmayı istemedikleri değerin ise Uyma olduğu görülmüştür. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğrencilerine aktarmak istedikleri değerler açısından cinsiyete göre Güç, Başarı ve Evrensellik; yaşa göre Uyarılım, Yardımseverlik ve Geleneksellik; medeni durumlarına göre Güç, Güvenlik; görev yapılan okul türüne göre Güç, Öz-yönelim, Evrensellik, Yardımseverlik ve Güvenlik değerlerinde manidar farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır.

In this research, primary school teachers? values were determined; the values which they wanted to carry over with various respects were introduced. Scanning model was used in this research. 327 classroom teachers who work for official and private primary schools compose the midpoint of the research in the center of Ereğli that is related to Zonguldak Local Director of Education. 295 classroom teachers compose the sample.Measure the teachers? value the Portrait Values Survey that was improved by Schwartz was used and translated in to Turkish by Demirutku (2004). In order to measure the primary school teachers? values which they wanted to carry over, the questionnaire that was developed in Demirutku?s (2007) doctoral thesis. Demographic characteristics of the participants have been identified by using personal information form.Data analysis was done using the SPSS 13.0 Statistical analysis software frequency a percentage distribution tables of data in the solution, unbound sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance was used.When the findings were evaluated it was seen that the primary teachers concerned the universality the most and the power the least.There were significant differences in the value of the primary teacher?s orientation. According to the gender; having pleasure from the life and safety, according to the age; warning, benevolence and tradition; according to the marital status; success and compliance, according to having a child or not; success, according to losing the parents while growing older; having pleasure from the life, universalism, benevolence and tradition values were significantly different. Any difference in the primary teachers value orientation wasn?t seen according to the birth place, the school where was worked and the family type that was grown.It was found that the primary teachers want to carry over the value of success the most. On the other hand, it was seen that the teachers consider the obedience the least. Significant differences were found in terms of the values which the teachers wanted to carry over according to the gender power, safety and universalism; according to the age the warning, benevolence and tradition; according to the marital status power and safety; according to the school where was worked power, self concentration, universalism, benevolence and safety.
