Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı; Vester Bellek Tipleri Testi'nin ilköğretim 6?7 ve 8.sınıflar açısından güvenirliğini, cinsiyetler arası farkı, öğrenme stilleri arası farkı ve ortalamalar arası farkı istatistiksel olarak belirlemektir.Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini 2008?2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında Mersin ilinde göç alan resmi, göç almayan resmi ve özel ilköğretim okullarından seçilen 3 okulda öğrenim gören 6?7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise seçilen okullarda öğrenim gören 6?7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden seçilen 213 öğrenci oluşturmuştur.Araştırmada veriler Vester (1991) tarafından geliştirilen ?Bellek Tipleri Testi" kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. ?Bellek Tipleri Testi? nin güvenirliğini belirlemek için test-tekrar test yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İkiden fazla gruplar arasındaki (6. 7. ve 8. sınıf) ortalama öğrenme boyutları arasındaki farklılıklar F testi ile gruplar arasındaki ortalama farklılık çoklu karşılaştırma yöntemlerinden Tukey HSD testi ile test edilmiştir.Testin okuma boyutu güvenirliği 0,44; işitme boyutu güvenirliği 0.45; görme boyutu güvenirliği 0,26; dokunma boyutu güvenirliği 0,30 ve kombine boyut güvenirliği de 0,51 bulunmuştur. The aim of this research is to measure the reliability of Vester Memory Styles Test regarding the primary school students and the 6th, 7th and 8th levels and to identify the statistical differences varying with gender, learning styles and the averages.The research involves a group of 6th, 7th and 8th level students studying in Mersin during the 2008-2009 academic year. Some of those grade school students are from migrant or non-migrant state schools and the rest are from 3 private schools. Sampling of the research consists of the 213 students chosen from those schools mentioned above.The data was gathered by making use of the ?Memory Styles Test? developed by Vester (1991). In order to measure the reliability of ?Memory Styles Test?, the test-retest method was used. Besides, its reliability was calculated with the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The differences in average learning dimensions of more than two groups (6th, 7th and 8th levels) were tested with the F test and the average difference among the groups was tested through Tukey HSD, a multiple comparison test.It is concluded that the reading reliability dimension is 0.44; the aural reliability dimension is 0.45; the visual reliability dimension is 0.26; the tactual reliability dimension is 0.30 and the combination dimension reliability is 0.51.
