Özet
Bu çalışmada, iki adet simetrik özellikte aromatik ?-diimin bileşiği ve bunların Ni(II) kompleksleri sentezlenmiştir. N,N'-(etan-1,2-diiliden)bis-(3,4-disiyanoanilin) (L) ve N,N'-(etan-1,2-diiliden)di(4,4'-(4amino-1,2-fenilen)bis(oksi)diftalonitril) (LA) ligandlarının saflıkları İnce Tabaka Kromatografisi (TLC) ile kontrol edilmiştir. L ligandının [NiL]Cl2 ve [NiL](ClO4)2.3CH3OH kompleksleri, LA ligandının ise [NiLA](ClO4)2.3CH3COCH3 kompleksi sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen bütün ligand ve kompleksler, İnfrared (IR) ve Matriks Destekli Lazer Desorpsiyon İyonizasyon-Uçuş Zamanlı Kütle Spektrometresi (MALDI-TOF-MS) kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir.[NiL](ClO4)2 ve [NiLA](ClO4)2 kompleksileriyle UV-Vis Spektrofotometrede çalışmalar yapılarak, hem komplekslerin hem de ligandların ?max değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, UV-Vis çalışmalar göstermiştir ki, Ni(II):L (L veya LA) = 1:1 kompleksleri oluşmaktadır ve bu oluşum ligand veya metal konsantrasyonunun değişmesinden etkilenmemektedir. Zaten, bu MALDI-TOF-MS sonuçlarıyla da doğrulanmıştır.Bununla birlikte, bazı yan ürünlerin yapılarının aydınlatılması Kompleks Kimya'ya katkıda bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, yeni tip simetrik ?-diimin ligandları ve bunların Ni(II) komplekslerinin sentezlenmesi, karakterize edilmesi ve bazı özelliklerinin tayin edilmesiyle Kimya Literatürüne yeni bileşikler kazandırılmıştır.

In this study, two symmetrical aromatic ?-diimine compounds and their Ni(II) complexes were synthesized. The purities of the N,N'-(ethane-1,2-diylidene)bis(3,4-dicyanoaniline) (L) and N,N'-(ethane-1,2-diylidene)di-(4,4'-(4-amino-1,2-phenylene)bis(oxy)diphthalonitrile) (LA) ligands were tested by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). [NiL]Cl2 and [NiL](ClO4)2.3CH3OH complexes of the L ligand and [NiLA](ClO4)2.3CH3COCH3 complex of the LA ligand were synthesized. All the synthesized ligands and complexes were characterized by Infrared (IR) and Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS).The ?max values of both complexes and ligands were determined by studying with [NiL](ClO4)2 and [NiLA](ClO4)2 complexes using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. Besides, UV-Vis studies showed that Ni(II):L (L or LA) = 1:1 complexes were formed and this formation was not affected from the changes in ligand or metal concentrations. This was also corrected by MALDI-TOF-MS results.In addition, determining the structures of some of the by-products contributed to the field of complex chemistry. As result, new compounds were gained for Chemistry Literature by the synthesis, characterization and determination of some properties of new type symmetrical ?-diimine ligands and their Ni(II) complexes.
