Özet
Bu çalışmada, ?Güneydoğu Sorunu? genelinde ve PKK terör örgütü özelinde, Van ilinde anadili Kürtçe olan vatandaşlarımızın PKK sempatisini etkileyen faktörler olarak seçilmiş olan, aidiyet duygusu, ayrımcılık algısı ve beraber yaşama istekleri incelenmiştir.Çalışmanın nicel verileri için BİLGESAM'ın (Bilge Adamlar Stratejik Araştırmalar Merkezi) ?Güneydoğu Sorununun Sosyolojik Analizi? isimli anket çalışmasının veri seti kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre insanımızın aidiyet ve beraber yaşama isteklerinin azalması ve ayrımcılık algılarının yükselmesi PKK sempatisini artırmaktadır.Sosyodemografik faktörlere göre sonuçlar analiz edildiğinde; yaş, eğitim düzeyi ve dindarlık durumunun artması ile iş sahibi olmanın, bireylerin PKK sempatisini azalttığını/bitirdiğini; buna karşın yaş, eğitim düzeyi, dindarlık durumunun azalması ve işsizliğin artması PKK sempatisini yükselttiği gibi, etnik bilincin oluşumunda PKK ve Öcalan'ın önemli etkisi olduğuna inananlarda ve Kürtlere bağımsızlık ve federasyon haklarının verilmesini talep edenlerde de PKK sempatisinin yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Meselenin çözümü noktasında; ekonomi, eğitim, din, güvenlik, sosyal sermaye, demokratikleşme ve medya bazında çözüm strateji ve projeleri sıralanmıştır.

In this study, in general with respect to the ?Southeast Problem?, and in particular with respect to the PKK, the sense of belonging, the perception of discrimination, and the desire of coexistence of the citizens living in the city of Van whose native language is Kurdish are examined, which are selected as factors that influence the sympathy of these citizens towards the PKK.For the quantitative data of the study, the data set of the survey of BILGESAM (Wise Men Center for Strategic Studies) entitled ?Sociological Analysis of the Southeast Problem? is used. According to the findings of the study, the decrease in citizens, sense of belonging and their desire of coexistence and the shift in their perceptions of discrimination increase the sympathy towards the PKK.When the findings are analyzed according to sociodemographical factors, it is ascertained that increase in age, level of education, piety, and employment reduce/eliminate the sympathy of individuals towards the PKK; while, on the other hand, decrease in age, level of education and religiosity and increase in unemployment, in the conviction that the PKK and Ocalan have substantial influence in the creation of ethnic consciousness and in the demand that independence and federal rights be given to the Kurds increase the sympathy towards the PKK.In terms of resolving the issue, resolution strategies and projects are indicated and classified on the basis of economy, education, religion, security, social capital, democratization and media.
