Özet

50 SUMMARY This research is conducted in the tomato fields of a farmer contractor to a company producing tomato paste in Muradiye-Manisa Aegean Region. Different nitrogen levels affecting the accumulation of nitrogen in the leaves and the effects on the product was examined. In this study one soil sample and 25 leaf samples were analysed physically and chemically and yield was obtained. Five different levels of nitrogenous fertilizer were used (0-6-12-18-24 kg N/da) with constant levels of phosphorus and potassium (12 kg P"0 /da, 12 kg K 0/da). The results are as 2 5 2 follows : By applying different nitrogen levels and analysing the yield and nutritive elements in the leaves, it was included that using 12 kg nitrogen per decar total nitrogen percent and the yield (kg/da) give maximum values while P percent, Ca percent, Zn (ppm), Cu (ppm) gives the maximum average values using no nitrogen. Using 6 kg/da nitrogen, K percent, using 24 kg/da nitrogen Na percent using 12-18 kg/da nitrogen Mg percent, using 0-18 kg/da nitrogen Fe (ppm) and using 18 kg/da nitrogen Mn percent (ppm) reaches their maximum average values. Low values were obtained in total N. %, Na %, Mn % and yield when no nitrogen was applied; in Ca %, Mg % and Zn (ppm) when 6 kg N/da applied; in K %, Fe (ppm) when 12 kg N/da applied in P % when 18-24 kg N/da was applied; and in Cu (ppm) when 24 kg N/da applied.51 Positive % total N-yield production (kg/da); % P-Zn (ppm); % Na - %Mg; % Ca - Fe (ppm); % Ca - Mn (ppm); % Ca - Cu (ppm) and negative (% K - % Ca); % K - Cu (ppm); % Na - Zn (ppm) correlations are also determined.
