Özet
Bu araştırmada, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığınca bir komisyona hazırlatılarak 2008-2009 tarihinden itibaren okutulmaya başlanan, yeni tarih öğretim programına göre hazırlanmış 9. sınıf tarih ders kitabı hakkında, tarih öğretmenlerinin görüşleri tespit edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.Literatür taramasında ders kitaplarının eğitim-öğretim açısından yeri ve önemi belirtilmiş ve ayrıca kapsamlı bir ders kitabının nitelikleri açıklanmıştır. Çalışmanın esasını ise öğretmenlere uygulanan anket formu sonucunda mevcut tarih ders kitabının fiziksel yapı, dil anlatım ve üslup, görsel tasarım, hazırlık çalışmaları, değerlendirme soruları, görsel içerik, okuma metinleri ve yazılı içerik açısından güçlü ve zayıf yönlerinin ortaya konması oluşturmaktadır.Yapılan anket çalışması sonucunda; öğretmen görüşlerine göre ders kitabının dil anlatım ve üslup, görsel içerik, okuma metinleri ve yazılı içerik açısından genel olarak oldukça olumlu değerlendirildiği; fiziksel yapı, görsel tasarım ve değerlendirme soruları açısından da olumlu değerlendirilmesine rağmen birtakım önemli eksikliklerinin olduğu; hazırlık çalışmaları açısından ise olumsuz olarak değerlendirildiği tespit edilmiştir.Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda piyasaya sürülen 9. sınıf tarih ders kitabının belli yönlerde eksikliklerinin olduğu ve öğretmenlerin de bu durumun farkında oldukları söylenebilir. Ders kitaplarının önemli bir eğitim ve öğretim aracı olarak kabul edildiği ülkemizde daha nitelikli ve daha kaliteli kitaplar yazılması hem öğrencinin derse ilgisini arttıracak hem de eğitimdeki başarıyı olumlu yönde etkileyecektir. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda ders kitabı yazarları, yayınevleri ile MEB ve alanda araştırma yapacaklara önerilerde bulunulmuştur

İn this study, I have aimed to explain opinions and comments of history teachers about history textbook that has been preapered fort he 9th class students by the Ministry of Education Authorized Commission.İt has been tried to point the importance and place of a textbook on education programme and it has been made some explanations what features must be in there in the textbook. İn this study some surveys heve been conducted to teachers about which objects are weaks and strong sides this textbook. İn terms of, about the physical structures,visual design, language and wording dictation Preparatory Works, evaluation tests, visual content and written content.When we look at the consequences of this survey, we see that: Teachers? reviewes are positive about language and wording,visual content,essays and writtencontent of the textbook. On the other hand they didnt find enough preparotory of the textbook. As a result, after these surveys that have been madeabout this 9th class history textbook, we can say that there are some lackings and deficients in this textbook that has been pointed by the teachers. And techer are aware of this condition and its seriouness.İn our country, the textbooks are accepted one of the main important parts of education and instruction. From this perspective, we can say that if we have beter quality textbooks our students? interest to learnin will increase their education will be much beter certainly. On towards of these informations; suggestions had been made to the history teachers, textbook?s authors, publishers Ministry of Education and researchers in this field.
