Özet
Microsoft firması gezgin cihazları üretmemektedir, bunun yerine bir standart WindowsMobil işletim sistemlerini cihaz üreten şirketlere sunmaktadır. Böylece 2010 yılındaMicrosoft tarafından Windows Phone 7 yeni bir işletim sistemi olarak ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Busayede piyasada farklı markalar ve donanımsal özellikler altında Windows Phone 7 işletimsistemi kullanan cihazlar görülmektedir. Bu yeni cihazlarla, Word, Excel, Power Point vebenzeri uygulamaları ile profesyonel iş hayatında gerekli olan çalışmalar yerinegetirilebilmektedir. Cepte taşınan küçük cihazlarla internette gezinti yapılabilmektedir.Microsoft'un Windows Phone 7 adlı bu yeni işletim sistemi; Visual Studio 2010, Silverlightfor Windows Phone ve Microsoft Expression Studio üzerinde geliştirilmektedir.Silverlight teknolojisi; Microsoft tarafından web geliştiricileri için tasarlanmış yepyenibir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama sayesinde internet sayfalarında özellikle de ?medyauygulamaları? ve hayal gücüne kalmış özel görsel efektler geliştirilebilir.Şu ana kadar üretilen gezgin e-öğrenme ortamları gezgin Windows cihazlarından farklıcihazlar üzerinden Microsoft teknolojilerinden farklı teknolojileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir.Microsoft teknolojilerin kullanarak üretilen sistemler neredeyse yok gibidir. Bu sistemler degezgin Windows cihazlarının eski sürüm olan Windows Mobile üzerinde çalışmaktadır.Windows Phone 7 üzerinde çalışan bir gezgin e-öğrenme ortamı ise bulunmamaktadır.Bu tezde Windows Phone 7 üzerinde çalışan; Visual Studio 2010 Professional,Silverlight, Silverlight for Windows Phone ve WCF RIA Services teknolojiler kullanılarakbir Uzaktan Öğrenme sistemi geliştirilmiştir.

The Microsoft Company does not produce mobile devices, instead of that the companyprimarily produces a basic Windows Mobile operating systems that is then used by companieswho produce devices. As a result of that, in 2010, the new basic operating system calledWindows Phone 7 was produced by Microsoft. Thanks to that, some more new devices usingthe name of Windows Phone 7 and having different brands and hardware peculiarities havestarted to be seen on the markets. By the introduction of all these new devices, someoperations which are necessary in our business life and other performances such as Word,Excel and Power Point can be achieved much more easily. Also with the small portabledevice, we can surf on internet with ease. This new operating system named Windows Phone7 and belonging to Microsoft is currently being improved on Visual Studio 2010, Silverlightfor Windows Phone and Microsoft Expression Studio.The Silverlight Technology is a completely new performance or application presentedand designed by Microsoft for the web developers. By courtesy of that application, somespecial visual effects based on imaginative power and especially ?media practices? can bedeveloped on internet pages.The e-learning mobile environment surroundings produced up till now have completelybeen created distinctively using the different technology beyond the Windows devices.Nowadays, it is hardly ever so seeing the systems which are produced using the MicrosoftTechnology. These systems have been working on Windows Mobile which is a previousversion of Windows mobile devices. Unfortunately, any kind of windows mobile e-learningsurrounding has not been found on Windows Phone 7 yet.The thesis that is presented includes an e-learning program which can work onWindows Phone 7 and also is based on Visual Studio 2010 Professional, Silverlight, andSilverlight for Windows Phone and WCF RIA services.
