Özet

37 Seyfe formation has normal contact relationship with upper Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous aged Do'gdu formation. This unit was formed in neritic environment in which volcanic activity also accumulated. Upper Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous aged Dog'du formation includes limestone at the bottom, red coloured sandy, micrit, biomicrit type limestones are present. This unit were deposited in neritic- pelagic environment and has 400-500 m thick. Yumakli formation, Cenomanian - Turonian in age, contains sandstone, shale, marl, clayey limestone, conglomerate and turbiditic flysch intercalation. This flysch type sediments are characterised by sin- orogenic facies and formed within neritic to batiyal environment. In the southern part of the study area, Maastricht ian aged Tersakan formation starts with yellow colour, middle - thick bedded conglomerate and passes up into yellowish - gray coloured, thin - middle bedded volcanogenic sandstone - shale alternation. Pliocene aged Çerkeş formation contains bedded conglomerat e, sandstone alternation, deposition environment of this unit indicates lagoon to fluvial environment. Alluvium and alluvial fan in Quaternary age are seen along Destek and Musul lu river. In the study area, rose diagrams were prepared by getting datas from Lower - Middle Jurassic age Seyfe formation, Upper Jurassic - Lower Cretaceous age Dofcfdu formation and Yumakli formation in Cenomanian - Turonian age. With this diagrams, stress orientation affecting the region has been figured out. As a result, deformation in the study area is roughly N - S fault show generally NW - SE direction. Pernio - Triassic aged Turhal Group were effected by98 Middle - Upper Hercynian, Lower - Middle Jurassic aged Seyfe formation and Bo'g'du formation in Upper Jurassic - Lower Cretaceous were affected by early Kimmerian - Oregonian, Cenomaniyen - Turonian age Yumakli and Maastricht ian age Tersakan formation were affected by Austrian, Miocene aged Çerkeş formation was affected by late Alpin erogenic phase.
