Özet

Bu araştırma, 2010?2011 eğitim-öğretim yılında İlköğretim 5. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Gruplar, Kurumlar ve Sosyal Örgütler öğrenme alanında yer alan `Toplum İçin Çalışanlar' ünitesinin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle işlenmesinin öğrenci başarısına etkisi olup olmadığını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2010?2011 eğitim-öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı Şırnak ilinde yer alan bir devlet okulu ile bir özel okulda öğrenim gören 5. sınıf öğrencilerinden seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 53 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel ve nicel yöntemler bir arada kullanılmıştır. Nitel yöntem açısından açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan değerlendirme formundaki veriler içerik analiz türlerinden frekans analizi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. İçerik analizinde çalışma grubunun uygulama sonucunun başarısını etkileyen sözcükler her soru için karşılaştırmalı bir şekilde farklı iki okul türü için ayrı ayrı ele alınmış, sözcüklerin frekans ve yüzdeleri hesaplanarak yorumlanmıştır. Nicel yöntem olarak ise araştırmalarda klasik veya gerçek araştırma modellerinden iç ve dış geçerliği birlikte koruyan en kuvvetli deneme modeli olan ?Solomon Dört Gruplu Araştırma Modeli? (S.D.G.M.) kullanılmıştır. Deney grubunda, konular işlenirken yaratıcı drama yöntemi, kontrol grubunda ise soru-cevap, örnek olay, anlatım ve tartışma yöntem ve teknikleri kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın uygulamaları Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı bir özel okul ve devlet okulu olmak üzere iki farklı yerde yürütülmüştür. Uygulama sonucunda testlerden elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiştir.Ön test ve son testlerden elde edilen puanlar değerlendirilerek deney ve kontrol grupları arasında fark olup olmadığı ?t testi? ile ortaya konulmuştur. Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde yaratıcı dramanın bir yöntem olarak kullanılması sonucunda; devlet okulunda ve özel okulda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin son test ortalama puanları karşılaştırıldığında; öğrencilerin son test puanları öğrenim gördükleri okul türüne göre anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. Buna göre, özel okulda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin son test ortalama puanları devlet okulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuca bakıldığında Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde yaratıcı dramanın bir yöntem olarak kullanılmasının öğrenci başarısı üzerinde anlamlı bir düzeyde etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi ile değerlendirme formundan elde edilen sonuçlar, nicel araştırma yöntemi sonucunda elde edilen verileri destekler niteliktedir.

In this research the 2010-2011 academic year, Primary 5 grade Social Studies Teaching Groups, Institutions and Social Organizations in the field of learning 'for Community Employees' creative drama method processing unit aims to explore whether the effect of student success. 2010-2011 academic research group working under the Ministry of Education in a public school in Sirnak province, with 5 being educated in a private school grade students, 53 students are determined by random sampling method. Used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative evaluation methods in the form of open-ended questions in terms of types of content analysis data were obtained by using frequency analysis. Content analysis of the working group that affect the success of the outcome of the application of two different words for each question in a comparative way the school is discussed separately for each type, word frequency, and percentages calculated and interpreted. Quantitative research methods in the classical or the actual research that protects models with internal and external validity of the test model, the most powerful“Solomon Four Lines Other Research Model”(SDGM) were used. In the experimental group, the creative drama method of processing issues, questions and answers in the control group, case study, lecture and discussion methods and techniques used.Applications of the research under the Ministry of National Education, a private school and public school was conducted in two different places. The data obtained as a result of the application tests were evaluated through SPSS. Pre-test and post-test scores obtained from the experimental and control groups in evaluating whether there is a difference between the“t test”set out with.As a result of the use of creative drama as a method of Social Studies, a public school and private school students attending post-test mean scores were compared in post-test scores of students they studied were no significant differences by type of school. Accordingly, private school students attending public schools in post-test mean scores were higher than those students who are educated. From this result, creative drama as a method of social studies lesson on the use of a significant level of student achievement are found to be effective. The results obtained with the evaluation form of qualitative research methods, quantitative data obtained as a result seem to support the research method.
