Toğluk, E. (2009). Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Başarı Yönelimi. İstanbul Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Hemşirelik Öğretimi ABD. Yüksek Lisans Tezi. İstanbul.Araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin başarı yönelimini belirlemek amacıyla planlanan ve tanımlayıcı kesitsel nitelikte bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2007-2008 eğitim öğretim döneminde İÜFNHYO'nda öğrenim gören I. sınıfta 116, II. sınıfta 104, III. sınıfta 67, IV. sınıfta 90 olmak üzere toplam 377 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında bilgi formu ve 2x2 Başarı Yönelimi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, SPSS for windows 10.0 istatistik paket programı, sayı, yüzdelik, ortalama, student's t, ANOVA, Tukey HSD testleri kullanılmıştır.Çalışmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ağırlıklı olarak öğrenme yaklaşma yönelimine(ÖYY) sahip olduğu, sınıf düzeyleri ile öğrenme kaçınma yönelimi(ÖKY) ve performans kaçınma yönelimi (PKY) arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu bulunmuştur. Kadın öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olarak öğrenme yönelimine sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin mesleğe ilgi duyduğu için tercih edenler ile ÖYY boyutu arasında, ÖSS puanının bu bölüme yetmesi nedeniyle tercih edenler ile PKY arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin güven verici aile içi iletişime sahip olması ile ÖYY arasında, baskılayıcı aile içi iletişimine sahip olması ile PKY arasında anlamlı fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin başarılı olmaya iten öncelikli etkenin kendileri olduğunu ifade edenler ile ÖYY arasıda, öğrencilerin başarı durumu ile ÖYY arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur.Çalışmanın sonuçları, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ağırlıklı olarak ÖYY sahip olduğunu görülmektedir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda; hemşirelik öğrencilerinin başarı yönelimini belirlemek amacıyla daha büyük gruplarla çalışılmasına, diğer üniversite öğrencilerin başarı yönelimi ile karşılaştırılmasına ve ileri çalışmalar yapılmasına gereksinim vardır.

Istanbul.This is a descriptive cross-sectional study planned to determine the achievement orientation of the nursing students. The sample population of the study consisted of 377 students in total, at Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing during the 2007-2008 semester. The data was collected using the information form and 2x2 Achievement Goal Orientation Scale. The data was analyzed using SPSS for Windows 10.0 Statistics package program, number, percentage, mean, student?s t, ANOVA, Tukey HSD tests.The study indicated that the nursing students predominantly had learning-approach goal orientation (LAPGO), and there was statistically significant difference between the grade levels and learning-avoidance goal orientation (LAVGO) and the performance-avoidance goal orientation (PAVGO). It was demonstrated that the female students had more predominant learning orientation when compared to the male students. There was a statistically significant difference between the students choosing the department willingly and LAPGO, and between the students choosing the department based on their University Entrance Exam scores and the PAVGO. A significant difference was found between the students with secure domestic communication and LAPGO, and between the students with suppressive domestic communication and PAVGO. There was a statistically significant difference between those who stated that the primary factor for achievement was themselves and the LAPGO, and between the achievement status of the students and LAPGO.Consequently, the study suggests that the nursing students predominantly have LAPGO, and it is required to work with larger groups, to make comparison with the achievement orientation of the students in other universities, and to conduct further studies to determine the achievement orientation of the nursing students.
