Özet
Araştırma hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ekosentrik, antroposentrik ve çevreye yönelik antipatik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla planlanmış ve gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2008-2009 öğretim yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Florence Nightingale Hemşirelik Yüksekokulu'nda öğrenim gören toplam 525 ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Bakırköy Sağlık Yüksekokulu Hemşirelik Bölümünde 2008-2009 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören toplam 209 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada örneklem grubu oluşturulmayıp, evrenin tamamına ulaşılması hedeflenmiş ve %76'sına (556) ulaşılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında bilgi formu ve Ekosentrik, Antroposentrik ve Çevreye Yönelik Antipatik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler NCSS2007&PASS2008 paket programı ile ve Oneway Anova testi, Tukey HDS testi, Student T testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin ekosentrik tutum puan ortalaması 62,28±8,33 antroposentrik tutum puan ortalaması 43,66±7,48 ve çevreye yönelik antipatik tutum puan ortalaması 17,88±8,33 olarak saptanmış, bu doğrultuda öğrencilerin ekosentrik ve antroposentrik tutuma sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. İkinci sınıf öğrencilerinin ekosentrik tutum puan ortalaması, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin ekosentrik tutum puan ortalamasından daha düşük çıkarken, ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreye yönelik antipatik tutum puan ortalamasının üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreye yönelik antipatik tutum puan ortalamasından daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Öğrencilerin annelerinin eğitim durumu, aile gelir düzeyleri, en uzun yaşadıkları yerleşim birimleri ve herhangi bir çevre kuruluşuna üye olma durumu ile ekosentrik, antroposentrik ve çevreye yönelik antipatik tutum puan ortalamaları arasında bir ilişki saptanmamıştır. Sonuç olarak hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ekosentrik ve antroposentrik tutuma sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimelerer: Ekosentrik, antroposentrik, çevre antipatisi, çevreye yönelik tutumlar, eko-hemşirelik.

This study was planned and carried out to determine the ecocentric, anthropocentric and antipathetic attitudes of nursing students towards environment. The population of the study was comprised of 525 students studying at Istanbul University, Florence Nightingale Nursing School during the academic year of 2008-2009, and 209 students studying at Istanbul University, Bakırköy Health School, Department of Nursing during the academic year of 2008-2009. No sampling group was created in the study; instead it was aimed at reaching the entire population, 76% of which (556) was achieved. The data was collected using the information form and the Ecocentric, Anthropocentric and Antipathetic Attitude towards Environment Scale. The data was analyzed using the NCSS2007&PASS2008 package program, Oneway Anova Test, Tukey HDS test and Student T test. The average ecocentric attitude points of the students was calculated as 62,28±8,33, and their average anthropocentric attitude points was 43,66±7,48, while the average points for antipathetic attitude towards environment was 17,88±8,33, which indicated that the students displayed ecocentric attitude. The average ecocentric attitude points of the second grade students was lower than that of the third and fourth grade students, while the average points for antipathetic attitude towards environment was higher in second grade students than that of the third ve fourth grade students. Consequently, nursing students were determined to have ecocentric attitude and anthropocentric attitude.
