SUMMARY This research is prepared to examine opinions of parents' child's toys and games(between three to six years old) and whether these opinions differentiate according to different kind of variables. To apply this research, researcher is prepared 'inquiry' which has got experts' practical applications and also is enriched by the researcher's point of view. The environment of this research constituted by Ankara 's city center institutions and children private kindergardens leveled by parts of the city. All the illustrations are chosen by using the simple ittustriation methods. 250 children are selected among chosen kindergarden related with the number of children of these schools. To create the illustration, these children's mothers and also fathers are used. This illustration is determined 250 parents which being 250 fathers and 250 mothers. According to this results: A ccording to parents ' opinion games play important factor to development of child. Parents consider their child's self care more important J Parents, when they play with their children, consider different kind of factors such as j child's sex, age, and their own age. Most of them do not want to direct by themselves child's role which child can choose freely. Wliile child is selecting his or her game partner by himself for this concept mothers give more permission than fathers. Parents show a tendency to interrupt their child's game to do something by themselves. According to the research; mothers make this more than fathers. Again mothers show an interest their child's productivity in the games more than fathers show. Parents purchase toys to their child before their birth and generally in first 5 months. To the parents toys ' are important factor to their child 's development Generally toy selection being done together with parents and child and according to child's wish.
