SUMMARY Hospitals are established in order to meet the health requirements of society. Individual's requirements are the most expensive and complicated proceses of health services and this is carried out by various health personnel who works as a team in hospitals. In order to give more effective, fruitful and orderly services, employing professional hospital managers is inevitable. Thus, we can say that professional hospital manager is a person who has received necessary formal education on hospital management, completed field studies and capable of doing that job effectively and professional hospital management should be his real profession. In this research, it is envisaged that whether health personnel has the necessary pre-judgments that of professional hospital managers. For this purpose, a questionnaire form has been prepared by the researcher and his consultant Asst. Prof. Erdal Sargutan titled“ Health Personnel's Pre-judgment Regarding the Qualifications of Professional Hospital Management.”479 administrators answered the questionnaire. In the analysis, in the multi-chamber tables X2 test has been used.240 According to the research result, it has been quoted that health administrators as saying that professional hospital managers should have the necessary high authority and it is a common belief that this will contribute to the hospital services in a positive way, but, it has been observed that there had been numerous positive pre-judgments about the functions, effects and qualifications of hospital administration and professional hospital managers and also both within and among the professional groups. Depending on the results, in order to take the utmost advantage of professional hospital management profession and personnel's skills and qualifications, new suggestions have been developed accordingly.
