Özet
Bu çalışmada bifenilden ve difenilmetandan çıkılarak Friedel-Crafts reaksiyonuna göre 4-asetilbifenil ve 4-asetildifenilmetan sentezlenmiştir. Elde edilen bu aromatik ketonlara ayrı ayrı 2-amino-4-klorofenol ve 2-amino-4-metilfenol katılarak, literatürde olmayan dört yeni ligand sentezlenmiştir. Elde edilen bu iki dişli Schiff bazı ligandların etanol çözeltileri daha sonra uygun metal tuzları ile etkileştirilerek her bir ligandın mononükleer Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) kompleksleri sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen tüm ligand ve komplekslerin yapıları elementel analiz, manyetik süsseptibilite, molar iletkenlik, 1H- ve 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, ICP-OES, ve TG-DTG çalışmalarıyla aydınlatılmıştır.

In this study, firstly 4-acetylbiphenyl and 4-acetyldiphenylmethane was synthesized according to Friedel-Craft reaction starting from biphenyl and diphenymethane. Four new ligands were synthesized reacting these aromatic ketones with 4-amino-4-chlorophenol or 4-amino-4-methylphenol. Mononuclear Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes of each ligand were precipitated by the addition of appropriate metal salts to the solution of bidentate Schiff base ligand dissolved in ethanol. All ligands and complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, 1H- and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, ICP-OES and TG-DTG studies.
