Özet
Bu tezin temel amacı, İlköğretim 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi ?Ülkemiz ve Dünya? ünitesinde ?Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimin Akademik Başarıya Etkisi'ni? incelemektir.Tezimizdeki çalışma grubunu, Aksaray ili Merkez 125. Yıl İlköğretim Okulunun, 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim bahar yarıyılındaki 6-A ve 6-B sınıflarının 60 öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Aksaray İli Merkez 125. Yıl ilköğretim okulunda; Bilgisayar Teknoloji Sınıfı, akıllı tahta, projeksiyon ve diğer bilgisayar ekipmanlarının olmasından dolayı bu okul tercih edilmiş ve çalışma grubuna katılan öğrencilerin sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri ve karne notları incelenip grupların denkliği tespit edilmiştir.Araştırma verileri araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ?ön-test ? son-test? aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Hazırlanan başarı testi öğrencilere, deney öncesi ve sonrası ?ön-test ? son-test? olarak uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences - Sosyal Bilimler için istatistik paketi) programında t-testi ile sınanmış, .000 düzeyinde anlamlılığı test edilmiştir.Öğrencilerin, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimle işlenen ünite ile geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle işlenen ünite arasındaki farklılıkları ve akademik başarıları tespit edilmiştir. ?Ülkemiz ve Dünya? ünitesi kapsamında yapılan ön-test ? son-test sonucunda, Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimin öğrenmede kalıcılık sağladığı ve öğrencinin akademik başarısını arttırdığı tespit edilmiştir.

The main objective of this thesis is to survey the effect of computer-aided education on the academic success in the unit of ?Our Country and The World? in the 6th grade social sciences classes in primary school level.Study group of the thesis is consisted of 60 students in 6-A and 6-B classes in the second term of 2010-2011 academic year in 125. Yıl Primary School in the Province of Aksaray. This school is preferred for the reason that smart boards, projection devices and computer equipments are available in this school. Also, socio-economic levels and the school marks of the students in the study group have been examined in order to determine the equivalence of the groups.The research data has been collected by ?pre-test and post-test? which were developed by the researcher. The success tests have been applied to the students before the test and after the test as ?pre-test and post-test?. The data has been measured by t-test in SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences Programme), and the meaningfulness has been tested at the .000 level.The differences between computer-aided education of a unit in social sciences class and traditional training methods of this unit and academic successes of the students have been determined. As the result of pre-test and post-test in ?Our Country and The World? unit, the computer-aided education helps lastingness of learning and increase the academic success of the students.
