Özet

ÖZETBu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi dersinin fonksiyonları ve okullardaki konumu hakkında görüşlerini ve bu görüşler arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığını saptamaktır. Çalışmaya Bolu ilinde çeşitli ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 146 sınıf öğretmeni katılmıştır.Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak; dört sorudan oluşan kişisel bilgi formu, sınıf öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi dersi ile ilgili görüşlerine yönelik ?hiç katılmıyorum?, ?katılmıyorum?, ?kararsızım?, ?katılıyorum?, ?tamamen katılıyorum? seçeneklerinin bulunduğu 5'li likert ölçeğin kullanıldığı yirmi soruluk anket uygulanmıştır. Anket uygulaması sonucu elde edilen veri seti SPSS 15.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Analiz kapsamında, frekans tabloları, pasta ve çubuk grafikler, güvenirlik analizi (Reliability Statistics), bağımsız örneklem t testi (Independent samples t test), tek yönlü varyans analizi (One Way Anova) testinden yararlanılmıştır.Çalışmaya katılan sınıf öğretmenlerinin seksen ikisi erkek, altmış dördü bayandır. Araştırmada yer alan katılımcılar yaş dağılımları bakımından incelendiğinde %30,1'i 24-29 , %34,2'si 30-35, %17,1'i 36-41, %9,6'sı 42-47, %6,2'si 48-53 ve %2,7'sinin ise 54 ve üzeri yaş aralığıma sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Öğretmenler hizmet süreleri bakımından incelendiğinde, %26'sının 1-5 yıl, %31,5'inin 6-11 yıl, %20,5'inin 12-17 yıl, %9,6'sının 18-23 yıl, %7,5'inin 24-29 yıl, %3,4'ünün 30-35 yıl ve %1,4'ünün 36-41 yıl arasında hizmet süresine sahip oldukları görülmüştür.Sınıf öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi ders programlarına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amacı ile çeşitli testler yapılmıştır. Öğretmenler uygulanan anket formuna 3.89 ortalama ile katılıyorum cevabını vermiştir. Yani genel olarak olumlu yargıya sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. SUMMARYThe aim of this research is to determine the views of the class teachers about the functions and the position of the Physical Education lesson in the schools. 146 class teachers who work in different primary education schools in the centre of Bolu are included in this research.In this research a personal information form which is consisted of 4 questions and a questionnaire of 20 questions in which 5 likert scale is used with options of ?I totally disagree? , ?I disagree? , ?I am indecisive? , ?I agree?, ?I totally agree? about the views of the class teachers about the Physical education lesson. The set of data which is obtained from the application of the questionnaire is analyzed in SPSS statistics software. To evaluate the data, frequency tables, pie and bar charts, Reliability Statistics, independent samples t test, one way variance analysis (One Way ANOVA) are used.82 of the class teachers who participated in research are male and 64 are female. If the participants who are included in the research are examined on account of their ages, it is seen that 30.1% of them are between the ages 24-29, 34.2% are 30-35, 17.1% are 36-41, 9.6% are 42-47, 6.2% are 48-53 and 2.7% are 54 and above. If the teachers are examined on account of their total employment period, it is seen that 26% of them have 1-5 years, 31.5% have 6-11 years, 20.5% have 12-17 years, 9.6% have 18-23 years, 7.5% have 24-29 years, 3.4% have 30-35 years and 1.4% have 36-41 employment period.Various tests are applied in order to find out the perspectives of the class teachers about the programs of physical education lessons. The teachers responded to the questionnaire as ?I agree? with a 3.89 average. Therefore it can be understood that there is an average positive thought through the teachers. There is also a meaningful difference between male and female teachers as it is observed that male teachers have more positive approach. Another meaningful difference is observed in the 42-47 age group as they have more negative thoughts. The teachers who are new with their job (1-5 years experience) have more positive thoughts than others. Another meaningful difference is observed between the teachers willing to continue to Master of Arts program and others who are not. The teachers who want to continue to Master of arts program have more positive attitude towards physical education lessons.
