Özet
İnsan, yaşamı boyunca ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak amacıyla hangi mal ve hizmetleri kimden, nasıl ve ne zaman satın alacağına ilişkin kararlar almasını gerektiren bir tüketim süreci içerisinde yer alır. Günümüz bireyleri bu sürece çok küçük yaşlardan başlayarak dahil olmaktadır. Bu açıdan, çocukların tüketim olgusunun dışında düşünülmesi pek mümkün değildir. Özellikle çocukların dolaylı tüketici konumundan sıyrılarak; doğrudan tüketimin içinde yer alacağı döneme geçiş sürecinde, ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrenciliğini kapsayan ön ergenlik dönemi, kritik bir öneme sahip olmaktadır. Bu araştırma, İlköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin; tüketici kavramı, tüketici hakları, sorumlulukları ve tüketici eğitimine yönelik bilgi düzeyleri ile tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla planlanmış ve 400 ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada; ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerine, bilgi testi ve tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Test ortalama puanları arasında fark bulunduğunda bu farklılık 0.05 önemlilik düzeyi esas alınarak yorumlanmıştır. Verilerinin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin % 54,2 si kız, % 45,8?i erkektir. İlköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin cinsiyetlerine göre; tüketici eğitimi, satın alma faaliyeti öncesindeki-sonrasındaki tutumları arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (P<0,05). Araştırmaya katılan ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin tüketici eğitimi bilgi düzeyi puanları; annelerinin meslekleri açısından incelendiğinde, farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür (P<0,05).Araştırmaya katılan ilköğretim öğrencilerinin tüketici eğitimi konusundaki bilgi düzeyleri annesinin eğitim durumu açısından incelendiğinde farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir (P<0,05). Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin tüketici eğitimi bilgi düzeyleri babasının mesleğine göre incelendiğinde farkın anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir(P<0,05). Öğrencilerin tüketici eğitimi bilgi düzeyleri puanları; babasının eğitim durumuna göre incelendiğinde farkın anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür(P<0,05).

Human being takes part in the process of consumption which requires taking decisions about which goods and services from whom, how and when he/she will get with the aim of meeting its needs throughout his/her life. People today are included in this process begining from a very young age. In this respect, it?s impossible to think the children outside the phenomenon of consumption. Especially in the process of transition period in which children will take part in direct consumption scraping from the position of indirect consumer, pre-adolescence period,that covers the students in second grade elemantary school,has critical importance. This study was planned with the purpose of analyzing the levels of knowledge and attitudes of the students in second grade elemantary school to the concept of consumer, consumer rights, responsibilities and consumer education.It was pursued on 400 students in second grade elemantary school. Survey method was utilized in the study. Knowledge test and scale of attitude was applied to the students in second grade elemantary school in this study. As a difference was found between the average scores of test, this difference was explained on the basis of 0,05 importance level. SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 program was utilized for the evaluation of data. %54,2 percent of the students participated in the study are girls,%45,8 percent of them are boys, according to the findings of the study.With respect to the sex of students in second grade elementary school, the difference between their consumer education and their attitudes that are before-after the activity of purchase was statistically found meaningful(P<0,05).When the level scores of the consumer education knowledge of the students in second grade elementary school;were analyzed in terms of their mothers' occupations, it was seen that difference was statistically meaningful(P<0,05).When the knowledge levels of the students getting elementary education about the consumer education were analyzed in terms of their mothers'education state, it was determined that difference was statistically meaningful (P<0,05).It was determined that difference was meaningful when the consumer education knowledge levels of the students participated in the study were analyzed according to their fathers' occupations(P<0,05). When the scores of the students' consumer education knowledge levels were examined with respect to the education state of their fathers, it was seen that difference was meaningful(P<0,05).
