Özet

Bu araştırma Gaziantep ili sanayi sektöründe çalışanların rekreatif aktivitelere katılımlarının örgütsel bağlılık ve tükenmişlik düzeylerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Gaziantep ili sanayi bölgesini kapsamakta olup araştırma örneklemi 28 orta ve büyük ölçekli işletmeden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; katılımcıların demografik bilgilerini belirlemeye yönelik sorular, rekreatif aktivite katılım ölçeği, örgütsel bağlılık ölçeği, tükenmişlik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. This study has been conducted to determine the effect of participation in recreation activities on organizational dependency and burnout level of the people working in Gaziantep industrial sector. The participants of this study was selected from Gaziantep industrial area and research sampling consisted of 28 medium and large scale businesses. Four different data collection tools were used in the study and they were demographic information scale, recreational activities involvement scale, organizational commitment scale and burnout inventory have been used. Spss for windows Version 11,5 package program was used for statistical analyses, and P< 0,05 accepted as statistically meaningful. It was observed that the industry employees mostly consist of men graduated from primary school, married with 1 or 2 children, most of whom are leaseholder, mostly working at the same place for a short time at a minimum wage and all of whom are working overtime. Industry workers mostly participate in passive recreation activities in their free time. It was revealed that the older the industry employers are the lesser they participate in recreation activities, the higher their education and economic level is, the more they prefer recreation activities. When compared with the ones who are married, single workers participate in recreation activities more often and when the number of the children increase, the participation and frequency of recreation activities decrease. When the participation of industry employers in recreation activities increases, their organizational commitment towards their workplace, continuity dependency and personal success feelings increase, and their emotional burn out possibility decreases. When the participation frequency in recreation activities increases, personal success feeling also increases. In terms of the impression left by Recreation activities, it is clearly detected that as the employers' organizational commitment, continuity dependency towards their workplace and personal success feelings increase, the emotional burnout and insensitivity decrease. Organizational commitment, emotional commitment, continuity dependency and personal success feelings of the workers contribute positively in recreational activity preference.
