Özet
Bu araştırmada ilk olarak tezle ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Daha sonra Cemal Reşit Rey'in 1969 yılında tamamladığı“İki Piyano İçin 12 Prelüd ve Füg”isimli eserinin, polifonik form usul ve teknikleri açısından analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Eserdeki her fügün notası incelendikten sonra her füg ayrı ayrı grafik haline getirilmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı C. R. Rey'in bu eserinin polifonik form usul ve teknikleri açısından analiz edilmesidir. Analiz sonucunda söz konusu eserde çok özel polifonik form ve usullerin kullanıldığı ve Türk Halk Müziği'nin makamsal ve ritmik özelliklerinin dünya müziğinin değerleriyle bir senteze ulaştığı tespit edilmiştir.

In the first part of this thesis was conducted literature relevant research. After“12 Preludes and Fugue for Two Pianos”titled piece which was Cemal Resit Rey completed in 1969 are analyzed in terms of polyphonic forms, procedures and techniques. Document analysis method was used in the research process. Each fugue was graphed separately After reviewing the notes of each fugue. The aim of this work is to analysis of the polyphonic forms in terms of procedures and techniques. As a result of the research was determined that Turkish folk music's modal and rhythmic characteristics and the values of European music reached a synthesis. In addition to, in this thesis have also been identified that very special polyphonic forms and procedures was used in C.R. Rey's creativity.
