Özet
ÖZET Dokuma, ihtiyacı karşılamak üzere yapılmaya başlanmış, za manla teknik olarak geliştirilmiş ve süsleme unsurununda dikkate alınmasıyla çeşitlenmiştir. Araştırmaya alınan kadife ve havlular, dokunurken temel çözgü ve atkı ipliği dışında ilave iplik kullanılarak yüzeyinde hav veya ilme oluşturulan dokumalardır. Bu araştırma kadife ve havlu dokumaların dokuma teknikleri nin, el dokusu örneklerinin gereç, teknik ve sanatsal değerlerinin, de sen ve kompozisyon özelliklerinin ortaya konulması; bu özelliklerden yola çıkarak farklı kullanım yerlerine yönelik günümüz ihtiyaçlarına cevap veren özgün tasarımlı ürünler oluşturulması; elde edilen sonuçlardan el sanatları eğitiminde yararlanılması amaçlarıyla plan lanmış ve yürütülmüştün Araştırmanın materyalini kadife ve havlu üreten beş adet işletrne,üç müze ve bir özel kolleksiyonda bulunan 16 adet el dokusu kadife ile 26 adet el dokusu havlu oluşturmuştur. Kadife dokumalar atkı, çözgü ve çift katlı çözgü kadife tek nikleri olmak üzere üç şekilde üretilmekte olup daha az hata ile ve kısa sürede üretilebildiği için çift katlı kadife dokuma tekniği tercih edilmektedir Havlu dokuma teknikleri iki ilme arasındaki atkı ipliği sayısına göre isimlendirilmekte olup ilme kalitesi bakımından genellikle üç atkılı sistem ile dokunmaktadır. El dokusu kadifeler kullanım yerlerine göre yastık ve kumaş.olarak isimlendirilrniştir. Kadife yastıkların ortalama eni 58.65 ± 1.63 ^cm., ortalama boyu 110.40 ± 5.48 cm.'dir. Kadifelerde kullanılan gereçler ise ipek ipliği, pamuk ipliği ve klaptandır. Kadifelerde yoğun olarak kırmızı, açık sarı ve yeşil kul lanılmıştır. Desenleri genellikle bitkisel olup değişik kompozisyonlar da yerleştirilmiştir.El dokusu havlular kullanım yerlerine göre baş ve hamam hav lusu olarak isimlendirilmiştir: Baş havlularının ortalama eni 46.50 cm., ortalama boyu 102.50 cm.'dir. Hamam havlularının ortalama eni 75.33 ± 2.71 cm., ortalama boyu 150.83 ± 4.31 cm.'dir. Havluların ortalama çözgü sıklığı 23.73 ± 0.L4 adet/cm., ortalama atkı sıklığı 19.08 ± 0.42 adet/cm.'dir. El dokusu havluların tamamı dimi dokuma örgülüdür. Dokun masında kullanılan iplikleri genellikle doğal renkli pamuk ipliğidir. Pamuk ipliği dışında doğal renkli keten ipliği ile dokunmuş oianlarıda vardır. İşlemeleri de ipek ipliği, pamuk ipliği, sim ve tel ile yapılmıştır. İşlemelerin konularındaki zenginlik işleme tekniklerinin ve renklendirmelerin çeşitliliğini artırmıştır. Havluların dokumalarında, dokuma tekniğinden dolayı tama men geometrik; işlemelerinde bitkisel; kenar temizlemelerinde de geo metrik konular hakim olmuştur. Kompozisyonlarında da değişik düzenlemeler kullanılmıştır. Havlı ve ilmeli dokuma teknikleriyle el sanatlarına yönelik uy gulamalı çalışmalar yapılmış, atkı ilmeli dokuma tekniği geliştirilmiştir. Bu teknikler özgün tasarımlı, dekoratif ve sanatsal özelliği olan ev ve giyim aksesuarları üretiminde kullanılmıştır.

SUMMARY Weaving has occurred as to provide a need, been technically developed in time and diversified by the taking of elegance into consideration. The velvests and towels that are investigated are weaves that has been provided naps and piles on the surface by using extra thread except for the weft thread and warp thread. This investigation has been planned and done with the aim of bringing the weaving methods of the velvet and towel weavings; the technical and artistic values and equipment, the design and composition properties of the samples of hand made weaaves into light and for making originally designed products related to different areas of usage providing the needs of the day by using these properties and with the aim of making use of these results in handicrafts education. The materials used in this investigation are provided from the samples of five administrations producing towels and velvet, 3 museums and a private collection from which 16 hand made velvet and 26 hand made towels have been taken. Velvet weavings are produced in three different ways called weft, warp and double layered warp methods and as lees mistakes are made and its produced in a shorter time, double layered warp method is preferred. Towel weaving methods are considered according to the number of weft thread between the two loops and for die quality of the loops threee wefted system is preferred. Hand made velvests are called cushion or fabric, according to the place they're used. The average width of velvet cushions are 58.65 ± 1.63 cm and their average length is L 1Q.40 i: 5.48 cm. The equipment used in velvets are silk thread cotton thread and klaptan (a device used in velvet production for showing the number of knots). For their colouring, red, light yellow and green IIIhave been intensively used. Their illustrations are generally vegetal and designed in different compositions. Hand made towels are named as head-towels and bath towels according to the place they're used. The average width of head towels is 46.50 cm, averagee length is 102.50 cm. Bath towels have an average width of 73.33 ±2.71 cm and average length of 150.83 ± 4.31 cm. The average warp frequency of the towels is 23.73 ±0.14 units/cm, and the average weft frequency is 19.08 ± 0.42 units/cm. All of the hand made towels are close - woven plaited. Naturally coloured cotton thread is generallyy used for its weaving. Except for the ones with cotton thread there are also towels woven from naturally coloured linen thread. The embraideries are done from silk thread, cotton thread, silver and silver or gold thread. The wealth in" the subjects of the embroideries have increased the variety of embroidery colouring technics. In weaving of towels, due to the weaving technics, completely geometric; in embroideries vegetal, in turning in and hem again geometric subjects have dominated. Different designs have been used in their compositions. Works with practice have been done, related to the looped weaving methods, and wefted looped weaving method has been developed. And these technics have been used in producing originally designed, decorative and artistic house and clothing accessories. IV
