Özet
143 SUMMARY The study area, which is located at the 5 km. east - northeast of Niğde province, within an area of approximately 400 km. square. The investigated area was situated partly 1/25.000 scaled Kozan M33 bj topographic map. Field, laboratory and report writing are the main investigation. The samples systematical collected from study area in the field investigations. The samples were examined under the microscope in the laboratory investigations and microprope analysis were made to theese samples. A total of 300 samples were collected from the mineralisation area. 200 samples of polished sections and the rest of theese sections were studied using microscope, microprope analysis were also made from the polished sections. Chemistry of the minerals was made using microprope analysis. This helped to interprate the for matren of the ore minerals. The study area consisted of Paleozoic (Gümüşler, Kaleboynu, and Aşıgediği formations), Mesozoic (Sineksizyayla metagabro and Üçkapılı), Upper Miocene - Lower Pliocene crystaline vitric tuff and alluvium, slope molasses recent geologic time. Gümüşler, Kaleboynu and Aşıgediği formations were determined to be the units of the Niğde massive. In the study area, paragenesis of pollymetalic antimonite - mercury mineralisation were studied in detail. Therefor, detailed paragenesis of ore minerals rocks were investigated using mining microscope. The ore mineralisation of the Gümüşler was economically evaluated and antimonite mineralisation was also classified. The mineralisation is composed of sulfides (antimonite, zinober, pyrite, arsenopyrite, cholkopyrite, markasite, calcosin, sphalerite, galena, metasinabarite, and covelline), oxides and hydroxides (limonite, hematite, titanium minerals, lepidocrosite, and psilomelane), gangue (quartz and calcite), and others (zircon, serucite). The chemical analysis of the minerals indicated flat these minerals have been formed under low temperatures as a result of hydrothermal activities. In the region, an important mineralisation have not been found. However, there are many mineralisation areas, thus the detail study of these mineralisation should be made.142 Gümüşler cevherleşmesinin ekonomik değerlendirmesi, antimonit cevherleşmesinin sınıflandırılması da ayrıca yapılmıştır.
