Özet
Bu tezin araştırma konusu trompetin orkestradaki yeri, kullanımı ve literatüre geçmiş önemli trompet soloları ile icracıların çalış kalitelerini arttırmaya yönelik çalışma tekniklerinin incelenmesidir. Birinci bölümde trompetin günümüze kadar olan tarihsel gelişimi genel hatlarıyla anlatılmış, ikinci bölümde orkestradaki yeri ve kullanılış biçimleri gösterilmiş, üçüncü bölümde ise literatüre geçmiş önemli trompet sololarının yer aldığı eserler ve bestecileri hakkında tarihsel bilgi verilmiş olup son olarak dördüncü bölümde önemli sololar ile icracıların çalış kalitelerini arttırmaya yönelik çalışma teknikleri inceleme konusu yapılmıştır.

The research subject of this thesis is the examination of place and use of the trumpet in the orchestra, important trumpet solos in the literature and working techniques aimed at improving performers' playing quality. The first part outlines the historical development of the trumpet to date, the second part shows the place and use of the trumpet in the orchestra, the third part provides historical information about important solos in the literature and their composers, finally, the fourth part examines important solos and working techniques aimed at improving performers' playing quality.
