Özet
Sosyolojik teori, sosyoloji ve din sosyolojisi bilimi için önem arz eden bir bilimsel gerekliliktir. Bu doğrultuda klasik sosyolojide ve çağdaş sosyolojide, toplumu ve dini açıklamak adına çeşitli teoriler geliştirildiği gözlemlenmektedir. Son dönemin en önemli sosyologları arasında yer alan Niklas Luhmann, genel sistem teorisiyle sosyolojinin en kapsamlı ve sistematik teorilerinden birisini geliştirmiştir. Farklı disiplinlerden yararlanarak geleneksel sosyoloji anlayışına muhalif bir tarzda radikal bir süper teori inşa eden Luhmann, genel sistem teorisi ile toplumu ve toplumsalın alanına ait olguları açıklamıştır. Dünya toplumunu bir sistem olarak açıklama ve söz konusu dünya toplumuna ait olan her türlü sosyal olguyu analiz etme amacı güden Luhmann, kavramsal soyutlamalar ve bu bağlamda bilişsel çerçeveler geliştirerek evrensel ve her topluma uyarlanabilir bir teori üretmiştir. Modern toplum, hiper kompleks bir yapıya sahiptir ve bu karmaşık toplum ancak karmaşık bir teoriyle açıklanabilir. Modern toplum, toplumsal sistemin alt dalları olan işlev sistemlerinden oluşmaktadır. Luhmann, eğitim, ekonomi, bilim, sanat, aşk, hukuk gibi sosyal olan her türlü olguyu, toplumsal sistemin alt dallarını oluşturan işlev sistemleri bağlamında analiz etmiştir. Din, belirli bir işlev üzerine uzmanlaşmış ve bu doğrultuda otonom bir özellik kazanarak modern toplumda kendisine yer edinmiştir. Luhmann, sistem teorisinin argümanları kapsamına din olgusunu da incelemiş ve bu bağlamda dini sistemik bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirmiştir. Luhmann, bilim çevrelerinde hak ettiği değeri çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı henüz almış değildir. Genel sistem teorisinin önemi, bazı ülkelerde fark edilmiş ve bu amaçla çeşitli çalışmalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ancak yine de mevcut çalışmaların tatmin edici boyutta olduğu söylenememektedir. Aynı şekilde ülkemizde genel sistem teorisi çok bilinmemekte ve bu durumun Türk sosyolojisi ve Türk din sosyolojisi için bir eksiklik olduğu düşünülmektedir. Söz konusu bu çalışmanın, Türk sosyoloji ve din sosyolojisi literatüründe mevcut olan eksikliğe bir katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.

Sociological theory is a significant scientific requirement in the discipline of sociology and sociology of religion. In this regard, it is observed that various theories are developed to explain society and religion in both classical and contemporary sociology. Niklas Luhmann, one of the most leading and prolific sociologist of last years, has developed one of the most encompassing and sistematic theory of sociology. By utilizing from different kinds of disciplines, Luhmann, constructing a radical super theory in an opponent way to the classical sociology, explained society and social facts.Luhmann, who aimed at explaining World society as a system and analyzing every societal facts belonging to World society at issue, has produced a theory which is universal and adaptable for every society by developing conceptual abstraction and cognitive frames. Modern society has a hyper complex character and it can be solely explained with a complex theory. It consists ofvarious functional systems which are subsystems of societal system. Luhmann analyzed many social phonema such as education, economy, science, art, love, law in terms of functional systems which are characterized as subsystems of society. Religion, which is one of the subsystems of society, specializes in a specific function and accordingly it has found a position in modern society by acquiring autonomous attribution. Luhmann analyzed religion in terms of elements of system theory, accordingly he assessed religion in a systemic perspective. Due to some reasons, Luhmann has not been appreciated as he has deserved in scientific community yet. The significance of Luhmann's theory has been realized in some countries and some studies have been carried out on his theory. Nonetheless, it can not be said that the studies at issue are in a satisfactorary level. Likewise, the system theory is not known sufficiently in Turkey and this state is thought to be inadequecy for Turkish sociology and Turkish sociology of religion. The study at stake is considered to be a contribution for the gap which Turkish sociology and Turkish sociology of religion has.
