Özet
Günümüz koşullarında işletmelerin verimli bir şekilde faaliyetlerini sürdürmeleri, rakipleri ile rekabet edebilmeleri adına oldukça önemlidir. Verimliliğin sağlanması ve sürekli hale gelmesi adına, işletmelerin sergiledikleri performansları değerlendirmeleri gerekmekte ve elde edilen verilere göre düzenleme yapmaları gerekmektedir. Söz konusu gereklilikler performans yönetim sistemlerini beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı özel hastanelerde performans yönetimini incelemek ve değerlendirmektir. Çalışma kapsamında öncelikle literatür taraması yapılmış ve ardından Ankara'da iki özel ve bir devlet hastanesinde hastane personeline anket uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar hastane personelinin çok sayıda faktörün etkisinde performans gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca hastane çalışanlarının tarafsız bir şekilde değerlendirme yapılmadığını ortaya koyan yanıtları, performans yönetim sisteminde tarafsızlığın gerekliliği sonucunu beraberinde getirmiştir. Çalışmanın üç hastaneyi kapsayacak şekilde yapılması ise sınırlılık olarak nitelendirilebilir.

Effectiveness is one of the most important factors to continue the financial actions in all of the organizations in every sector today. For the effectiveness the organizations' managers should always check the performance and make decisions with the information of the performance. Because of the necessity of the effectiveness the term performance management systems have been shaped. The goal of this study is to understand the performance management systems. By this reason a literature review has done about the subject and then, a private hospital in Ankara has been investigated. As the result of the study seen that there are many factors which directly affect on the health care staffs' performance. Also the study showed that the staff does not think that the management of the hospital evaluate the employees' performance objectively. But the managers should always be objective while they are managing the employees' performance. The limit of the study is the application in only one hospital.
