Justification of research: Economic growth and foreign direct investment (FDl) are two of the major debate topics of the modern day economics world. Besides their own effects, relationship between these two topics has its own significance mostly in developing countries. Main question in the economics is the direction of the impact of FDI on economic grouth. A review of literature on the topic revealed the need of conducting additional research on this impact to create different pathways. Purpose: This project aims to detemiine the impact of foreign direct investment on economic growth in developing countries. Practical recommendations and implications for future policy makers are also given. Design/methodology/approach: The quantitative method of research was employed in this project. Eviews 7 program used for econometric regressions with the data fi-om World Bank Indicators for selected variables and time period (Databank of World Bank) Findings: The result obtained shows the positive impact of foreign direct investment on economic growth in developing countries. However the negative relationships of some variables in equation appeared, the positive impact between key variable can be seen on this project. Originality/value: This project contributes to the existing literature on the topic. Because of the steady structure of this topic, every new finding generates new fields for exploration.
