Many people believe that neoliberal globalization will lead to prosperity. In Turkey, neoliberal economic reform, the impetus of this current form of globalization, has included trade and financial liberalization, industry deregulation, privatization, elimination of barriers to foreign investment and a general weakening of the state's control over the economy. Perhaps of all its components, free trade is the most debated and central part of this reform. Proponents of free trade argue that less industrialized economies will benefit from free trade agreements (FTAs), since their interaction with stronger economies will introduce capital which will increase their exports, in turn benefiting future economic development. However, free trade and neoliberal economic development in general is in many ways not sustainable environmentally, culturally or socially. In this research author defined how neoliberalism under the name of neoliberal globalization implemented in Turkey.
