This study investigated the role of culture on cross-cultural leadership of Turkish and UK construction executives in projects in the Middle East based upon quantitative analysis of empirical data. Primarily, a survey which consists of MLQ-6S, INDCOL and Adjustment questionnaires is developed and conducted through online surveying websites. The analysis of the responses revealed that while both Turkish and British leaders are adopting both transformational and transactional leadership styles in their cross-cultural management practices; cultural differences affect the frequencies of utilizations of transformational and transactional leadership dimensions. Also according to the Adjustment questionnaire, it is seen that while the Turkish leaders are adjusting easier to the context of construction projects in Arab countries, British leaders are culturally more sensitive than Turkish leaders. Another finding of the research showed that there are no relationships with the self-construal and selection of leadership styles. The study concluded that both adjustment and cross-cultural leadership of Turkish and British leaders are affected by their cultural backgrounds. Furthermore it is recommended that in the future projects; leaders should analyze the cultural diversity of the project environment and select their leadership styles accordingly. Also due to the high 'laissez-faire' results of the surveys, both Turkish and British leaders are advised to regulate their leadership styles. Finally, due to the potential benefits, collaboration of Turkish and British construction companies in Middle East region is recommended.
