Özet
Globallesme sureci yogun bir etkilesim ile bolgesel ekonomilerin, toplum ve kulturun, IT ve telekomunikasyondaki hizli gelismenin harmanlanmasidir. Son yillarda kucuk ve orta olcekli isletmeler Avrupa gelisiminin donusumunu saglamaktadir. Eger ulkelerin genel gecis durumunu goz onune alirsak, arastirmanin butun resmi cok daha karmasik ve ilginc olacaktir. Bu tez kismi olarak baslangic bilgisi veren ve“Tez nedir?”sorusunu cevaplayan girizgahtan sonra 4 bolum icermektedir. Birinci bolumde Bosna Hersekteki is dunyasi ortamina, finansal istiktara, ozellestirmeye, ayricalikli kanun islemlerine, serbest ticaret bolgelerine, vergilendirmeye ve politik risk sigortasina deginilmektedir. Ikinci bolum KOBI`lerin rekabetinin guclendirilmesi icin uygulanan gelistirme ve faaliyetler hakkindadir. Bu bolumde rekabeti gelistime, gelisme stratejisi, kalite yonetim sistemlerine giris ve organizasyonu iyilestirme programinin yontem ve araclari aciklanmaktadir. Bir sonraki bolum ise Bosna Hersek`teki KOBU`lere deginmektedir. Ulkedeki KOBI`lerin mevcut durum analizi, KOBI`ler tarafindan onaylanmayan dahili ve harici engeller, ulkedeki ekonomik gelisme ve ulkedeki KOBI`lerin oranindan bahsedilmektedir. Ayrica basarili KOBI`lere dair ornekler yer almaktadir. Tezin en onemli bolumu ise dorduncu bolumde yer almaktadir. Bosna Hersek`te KOBI`lerin gelisimi konusunda arastirmalar ve sonuclar saglamaktadir. Arastirma mumkun oldugunca dogru bilgi saglamak icin Bosna Hersekteki butun buyuk sehirlerde yapilmistir. Arastirmanin sonucu Bosna Hersekteki mevcut durumu gelistirmek icin temellere sadik kalarak olcumler yapmakta ve KOBI`lerin rekabetine daha gercekci bir bakis acisi saglamaktadir.

The process of globalization is an intensive interaction and mixing of regional economies, societies and cultures, primarily due to the rapid development of IT and telecommunication. Small and Medium companies are making a spin of European development in last couple of decades. If these companies are put in a context of countries in transition then the complete image of the research will be much more complex and interesting. The thesis consists of four parts after the introduction that is included to answer the question“what is a thesis?”and give some initial information. The first chapter refers to business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, financial stability, privatization, favorable legislative treatment, free trade zones, taxation and political risk insurance. The second one is about reforms and activities taken for strengthening the Competitiveness of SMEs. In that chapter explain methods and tools for improving competitiveness, strategy of development, introduction of a quality management system and program of organization restructuring. The next chapter refers to SMEs in BiH, current state analysis of SMEs in BiH, External and Internal barriers not in favor of SMEs, Economic development in BiH, Ratio of SMEs in BiH. Also example of successful SMEs in BiH. The key chapter of the thesis is under number four. It is analoguous with a research since it features a research of the given issue and also gives solutions for improvement of SMEs in BiH. In order to gain valid information, the research was conducted in all larger cities in BiH. Results of the research will give a more realistic picture of competitiveness of SMEs in BiH, which can serve as a basis for taking appropriate measures to improve the existing situation in this regard.
