Özet
Bu tezin konusu, Türkiye'de Paleolitik Dönem ve Neolitik Dönem süresince üretilmiş duvar resmi, kaya resmi, taşınabilir çeşitli objeler, heykel, figürin ve idollerdir. Dönem insanlarının insan görüntüsünü, yani kendisini konu edindikleri ve görüntüsünü yansıttığı eserleri bugüne bıraktıkları maddi belgeler aracılığı ile incelemektir. Tez“Türkiye'de Prehistorik Dönem İnsan Betimlemeleri”adıyla sunulacaktır. Üç kıta arasında bir köprü olan ve gelmiş geçmiş tüm zamanlarda insanların yerleşmek için seçtiği Anadolu coğrafyası Arkeoloji için çok önemli belgelere sahiptir. Biz bu önemli miraslardan temel derdi insan olan eserlere odaklandık. Çalışmamızın temel amaçlarından ilki, tamamlanmış halinde, Prehistorik dönem insan betimlemeleri açısından, Anadolu'nun verimli topraklarında nasıl bir tarihsel görsellik ve gelişim içinde olunduğunu anlatmaktır. İkincisi, şimdiye kadar yapılan tüm çalışmalar ve yorumlar ışığında, konuya dair yeni sorular sormaktır. Nihai olarak, Prehistorik dönem açısından Türkiye sınırları içinde Paleolitik ve Neolitik Dönem insanlarının, yaşam, ölüm, din, korunma ve barınma gibi günlük hayat ihtiyaçlarını sanat yoluyla ifade etme biçimlerini değerlendirmektir. Bu değerlendirmede Türkiye'nin arkeolojik ve sanatsal olarak değerlerini gündemde tutmak ve korumak amacına küçükte olsa bir katkı sunmak en büyük hedeftir.

The subject of this thesis is the wall paintings, cave paintings, movable various objects, statues, figurines and cult figures produced throughout the Paleolithic and Neolithic Age in Turkey. It searches the artifacts which take up and reflect the human image of the people of the period, in other words themselves through the means of physical documents handed down to today. The thesis will be presented with the title,“Human Descriptions of Prehistoric Period in Turkey”. The Anatolian geography, which forms a bridge between three continents and was chosen for habitation by humans throughout the ages, possesses substantial documents for Archeology. Amongst these heritages we focused on the artifacts which take up humans at the centre stage. The first of the main purposes of this study is to depict the historical visuality and development on the furtile soil of Anatolia in terms of Prehistoric age human descriptions in a complete manner. The second is to address new questions regarding the subject in the light of all the studies and remarks conducted up until now. Consequently, this study evaluates the ways of expression through art of the Paleolithic and Neolithic Age people regarding daily life needs such as to live, die, religion, protection and sheltering within the borders of Turkey with regard to the Prehistoric Age. Even in the slightest possible way to contribute in keeping the archeological and artistic values of Turkey on the agenda and preserving the same through this evaluation is the ultimate purpose.
