Özet
Araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin empatik eğilim düzeyleri ile duygusal durumlara yaklaşma ve kaçınma motivasyonlarını belirlemek amacıyla, tanımlayıcı araştırma desenine göre gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın evrenini Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde bir devlet Üniversitesi Sağlık Yüksekokulu hemşirelik bölümü öğrencileri oluşturdu. Çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmeden tüm öğrencilere ulaşılmaya çalışıldı (N=433). Araştırmanın verileri; literatür doğrultusunda hazırlanan bilgi formu, Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği ve Duygu Gereksinim Ölçeği kullanılarak toplandı. Araştırma verileri bilgisayar ortamında analiz edildi. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, ortalama, standart sapma, minimum, maksimum değerler, sayı ve yüzde kullanıldı. Niceliksel verilerin karşılaştırmasında Student t testi, Mann Whitrey U testi, Oneway Anova testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, Pearson korelasyon analizi ile grupların çoklu karşılaştırmalarında Conever testi kullanıldı. İstatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak değerlendirildi. Öğrencilerin cinsiyeti ile empatik eğilim düzeyleri ve duygusal durumlara yaklaşma motivasyonları puan ortalaması; mezun olduğu lise ile yaklaşma puan ortalaması; mesleği seçme nedeni ile empatik eğilim puan ortalaması; çevresindeki insanlarla iletişimi ile empatik eğilim düzeyi ve kaçınma puan ortalaması; sağlık güvencesi ile yaklaşma puan ortalaması; ekonomik durumu ile empatik eğilim düzeyi ve kaçınma puan ortalaması; ailesiyle iletişimi ile empatik eğilim düzeyi ve kaçınma puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulundu.

The nursing students' levels of empathety and the motivation of emotional approach and avoidance to emotional situations This study was done, according to the course of descriptive researches, to determine the levels of empathety and the motivation of emotional approach and avoidance to emotional situations. The universe of the research was held with the students of the department of a health nursing school in the Region of Eastern Anatolian. In the study it is tried to reach all of the students without a sample selection. Data sheet prepared in accordance with literature data of the study were collected using Emotions requirements scale and Empathic Tendency Scale. The research data were analyzed by computer. On the evaluation of the data, average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum values, number and percentage were used. In the comparison of quantitative data Student's t test, Mann Whitrey test, Anova test, Kruskal Wallis test, test for multiple comparison groups conev Pearson correlation analysis was used. Statistical significance level was considered as of p <0.05. According to students' gender the average scores between the empathetic tendency levels and motivation of the approach to the emotional states were statistically significant. According to the approach point average of the students graduated from high school were found to be statistically significant. Empathic tendencies in mean scores were statistically significant according to the reason for choosing the profession. According to communicate with people around them the average points between emphatic tendency levels and the avoidence were statically significant. The average score approach by the health insurance was statistically significant.The average points between avoidencde and the emphatic tendency levels were statically significant according to economical situations. The average points between avoidencde and the emphatic tendency levels were statically significant according to the communication with their families.
