Özet
Bu çalışma ile ilkokul 4. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi,“Geçmişimi Öğreniyorum”temasında öykü ve imge kullanımının öğrencilerin ilgi ve tutumlarına etkisinin belirlenmesi, öyküleştirme ve imge yöntemlerinin tanıtılması, bu yöntemlerin kullanımının Sosyal Bilgiler öğretimine yönelik katkısının belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılında uygulanmıştır. Araştırma grubu, Zonguldak Kilimli ilçesinde bulunan Çatalağzı Plevne İlkokulu 4. sınıf öğrencileri (bir şube) ile sınırlıdır. Çalışma hem nicel hem de nitel bir araştırmadır. Nicel boyutta öğrencilerin tutumlarını ölçmeye yönelik tek grup öntest-sontest deseni, nitel boyutta ise öğrencilerin ders dokümanları ve öğrencilerle yapılan görüşmeler analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde problem tanımlanmış, alt problemler verilmiş, araştırmanın önemi belirtilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise ilgili yayın ve araştırmalar tanıtılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde araştırmanın modeli, evren ve örneklemi, öğrencilere ait genel bilgiler, veri toplama aracı, verilerin toplanması, çözümlenmesi ve yorumlanması yapılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde alt problemlere ilişkin bulgular ve yorumlar ele alınmış, son bölümde ise sonuç ve öneriler açıklanmıştır. Çalışma, öykü ve imge kullanımının Sosyal Bilgiler dersine uygun olarak nasıl gerçekleştirilebileceğini, uygulama adımlarının neler olduğunu ve yöntemin Sosyal Bilgiler dersine yönelik ilgi ve tutumu ne düzeyde etkileyeceğini ortaya koyması bakımından önem taşımaktadır.

In this study, 4th class social sciences course, under the theme of“I learn my past”, the effects of using the story and image on student's interest and attitudes, introducing narration and techniques of imagination and to determine the contribution by using these techniques in social sciences teaching are aimed. The study was applied in the 2013-2014 academic year. The research group is located in the center of Zonguldak Çatalağzı Plevne Elementary School and was limited only 4th grade students (a branch). The study is both quantitative and qualitative research. One group pretest-posttest design to measure students 'attitudes to the quantitative dimension, in qualitative dimension interviews with students and students' course documents have been analyzed. In the first part of this research, a problem has been defined and sub-problems had given and the importance of the research was pointed out. In the second part, related publications and related researches have been introduced. In the third part, the model of research, universe and sampling, general informations about students, device of data collection, data collection, data analysis and interpretation of data have been dwelled upon. In the fourth part, findings and interpretations related to sub-problems have been dealt with. In the final part, results and suggestions have been shown. The study is important because it exhibits how the use of story and imagination practising in social sciences course conveniently, what are the practising steps and which degree the method affects the attention and attitude towards social sciences course.
