Özet

Çalışmamız hastaların anestezi süreci, anestezistlerin bu süreçteki rolü konusunda bilgi düzeylerini saptamak, endişelerini öğrenmek; yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, anestezi deneyimi, ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) sınıfı faktörlerinin etkilerini preoperatif ve postoperatif dönemde araştırmak üzere planlanmıştır. Hastane etik kurul onayı sonrasında, Aralık 2014-Eylül 2015 tarihleri arasında Anestezi Polikliniği'ne başvuran hastalardan preoperatif anket formunu doldurmaları istendi. Postoperatif dönemde takip edildikleri klinikte ziyaret edilerek 2. anket formunu doldurmaları, bilgi düzeylerindeki değişikliği değerlendirmek amacıyla preoperatif formdaki 5-17. soruları tekrar cevaplandırmaları istendi. Çalışmaya ≥18 yaş, okuma-yazma bilen, yoğun bakım takibi planlanmayan, elektif cerrahi geçirecek hastalar dahil edildi. The present study was planned to specify patients' knowledge level and concerns related to the process of anesthesia and the role of the anesthesiologist in this process as well as to analyze the effects of the factors including age, gender, education, anesthesia experience, and the ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) class in the preoperative and postoperative period. After obtaining the approval of the Hospital's Ethics Committee, the patients admitted to the Anesthesia Preanesthetic Assessment Unit between December 2014 and September 2015 were requested to fill in a preoperative questionnaire form. In the postoperative period, the patients were visited at the clinic and requested to fill in the second questionnaire form and to re-appraise the 5th and 17th questions included in the preoperative questionnaire in order to analyze the change in their knowledge level. The patients, who were over 18 years of age, knew to read and write, were scheduled for elective surgery and did not need follow-up in the intensive care unit, were involved in the study.
