We utilize natural resources to wear them out in order to produce goods and service. Since enviromental problems are closely related to production and consumption, they are the connected with the gross national product. Economic systems affect the people's life by wasting the natural resources, by polluting the environment, by changing the natural and architectural aesthetic. An economy may have provided an economic growth in a long term, however, if the nature loose its qualities because of the destruction of the environmental characteristics, it would be wrong to consider this economy in an acceptable growth. That life quality is reduced by environment pollution, in order to increase the level of the welfare of the people, not a growing economy, but an economy and a policy of economy that provides a life with a high quality is needed today. Environmental account is a tool for reaching this economical policies and it aims to help with calculating the gross national product, which determines the level of development of that economic system, in an accurate and reliable manner.
