Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırma, Grupla Psikolojik Danışmanın Yenimahalle 50. Yıl Yetiştirme Yurdu öğrencilerinin Kendini Gerçekleştirme ve Kaygı düzeylerine olan etkisini incelemek amacıyla planlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, konuyla ilgili problem ve alt problemler belirlenmiş bunlara uygun denenceler oluşturulmuş, araştırmanın temel kavramlarına ilişkin tanımlar ve kuramsal temellendirmeler geliştirilmiştir. Uygulama için deney ve kontrol gruplu öntest sontest deney modeli kullanılmıştır. Her iki grubu oluşturan deneklerin 15-18 yaş grubunda, aynı sosyo-ekonomik kökenli, anne babası ölü, ya da bilinmeyen ya da terkedilmiş olma özellikleri aranmıştır. Bu özellikleri taşıyan gönüllü bireyler içinden deney ve kontrol grup ları "oluşturulmuştur. Uygulama sürecinde, hem deney hem kontrol grubuna grupla psikolojik danışma öncesi Türkiye koşullarına Kuzgun (1972; 73) tarafından uı lyarlanan Everett Shostorom ' un Kişisel Yönelim Envanteri ile, Türkiye Koşullarına Le Compte ve Öner (1976) tarafından uyarlanan, Spielberger'in Kaygı Envanteri uygulanmıştır. Deney grubuna 15 hafta süreyle yaklaşık 1,5 saatlik grupla psikolojik danışma yapılmıştır. Danışma sonunda aynı Envanterler Deney ve Kontrol gruplarına yeniden uygulanmış, gruplar ölçeklerden elde edilen puan ortalamasına göre birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmış, aradaki farklar t testiyle kontrol edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular sunulmuş, sonuçlar yorumlanmış, tartışılmış ve bazı öneriler geliştirilmiştir.Sonuç olarak, Deney ve Kontrol grupları karşılaştırıldığında uygulanan psikolojik danışma sonunda Deney grubu lehinde manidar farklar bulunmuştur. Özellikle Kişisel Yönelim Envanterinin ana ölçeklerinde (Di), (Zm) deney grubu yönünde ve Kaygı Envanterinin toplam ölçek puanlarının ortalamalarında gene deney grubu lehinde manidar fark elde edilirken, Sürekli Kaygı ölçeğinde manidar fark elde edilmemiş, buna karşılık Durumluk Kaygı düzeyinde deney grubu lehinde manidar bir fark bulunmuştur. Deney grubu deneklerinde grupla psikolojik danışma uygulandıktan sonra, sontest yönünde, önemli farklar ortaya çıkmıştır. (Di) ölçeğinde sontest yönünde manidar fark bulunmuş, (S) ve (ît) ölçeklerinde ters yönlü sonuç çıkmış, öntest lehinde yüksek ve manidar fark elde edilmiştir. Kişisel Yönelim Envanterinin öteki ölçeklerinde sontest yönünde manidar fark çıkmamıştır. Kaygı Envan terinin toplam ölçek puanları ortalamalarında ve Sürekli Kaygı ölçeğinde sontest lehinde manidar farklar bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlar ışığında araştırmacı sözkonusu kurumlarda Psikolojik Danışma etkinliklerinin önemini ısrarla savunmak gereğini duymuştur. - VI

SUMMARY This resarch was planned to investigate the effects of group counseling on the self-actualization and the anxiety levels of the students in 50. Yıl Yetiştirme Yurdu (a public Orphanage) in Yenimahalle. İn this direction the problem and the subproblems about the sub jest were determined, the appropriate h^/potheses were formed and the related definitions and the theoretical back ground to the main concepts of the research were given. For the case study experimentation and pre-test/post test experimental model with control group were chosen as data collection techniques. The members of the group were chosen as to share the same qualites. Their age range is between 15 and 18, their socio-econo-* mic backgrounds are the same, their parents were either died or unknown or they were abandoned. The experimental and control groups were accomplished among the voluntary menbers who had these qualities. During the case study Anxiety inventory of Spilberger which was adapted to the conditions of turkey by Le Compte and Öner (1976) and Personal Orientation inventory of Everelt Shostrom which was adapdet to the conditions of Turkey by Kuzgun (1972; 73). Were applied... to both the _.;u experimental and control groups before the psychological counseling of the group. For 15 weeks, a one-and a half-hour group counseling seances had been performed with the experimental group. The same inventories were applied to both the experimental and control group again after thesecounseling seances. The groups were compared with each other accor ding to the avarage points gained from the test, and the differen ces between the previous ones and the latter ones were controlled by the t test. The findings were listed, the result were interpre ted and discussed, and some suggestions were made. As a result, when the experimental and control groups had been compared some significant differances were found in the favour of the experimental group after the psychological counseling. Especially in the major measurements of the personal Orientetion inventory (Di, Zm) and in the total avarage points of the Anxiety inventory, significant differences were f round in the favour of the experimental group. However, no significant differences were obtained from the continuous anxiety inventory although important differances in the favour of the experimental group were observed in the state Anxiety level. There were found some important differances in the members of the experimental group in the favour of the post-test after the goup psychological counseling seances, On the (Di) measurement were found significant differances in the favour of the post-test although (S) and (İt) measurements gave contradictory results which were in the favour of the pre- test. No significant differan ces in tha favour of the post -Test were obtained from the other measurements of the Personal Orientation inventory. The avarages of the total points of the Anxiety Inventory and the measurements of the continuous Anxiety Inventory all were in the favour of the post-test. İn the light of these findings the researcher has felt very much obliged to support the importance of the Pschological counseling activites in the mentioned institudions.
