Özet

Bu çalışmada 7.Sınıf İnsan ve Çevre ünitesinde akıllı tahta kullanımının öğrencilerin akademik başarısına, çevreye karşı tutumuna ve bilgileri hatırlama düzeylerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma için; Konya ili Hadim ilçesinde iki adet ortaokul kullanılmıştır. Okullardan biri kontrol grubu, diğeri ise deney grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak Ünite Başarı Testi ve Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. 4 hafta boyunca, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerle İnsan ve Çevre ünitesi geleneksel yöntemlere göre işlenirken, deney grubundaki öğrencilere ise aynı ünite akıllı tahta etkinlikleri kullanılarak işlenmiştir. Grupların denkliğini ölçmek için hazırlanan testler ön-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Uygulama bittikten sonra, her iki grubun başarılarını ve tutumlarını ölçmek için aynı testler son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Son olarak da öğrenilen bilgilerin ne kadarının hatırlandığını ölçmek için 3 hafta sonra aynı test hatırlama testi olarak uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 istatistik paket programı ile analiz edilmiş ve elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde t-testi kullanılmıştır. Nicel verilerden oluşan bu çalışmada, elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda, deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun akademik başarıları arasında, deney grubu öğrencilerinin lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olarak bir fark tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca uygulama hatırlama testi sonuçlarına göre deney grubundaki öğrencilerin hatırlama oranı, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere göre daha fazladır. Bunlara ek olarak Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği son-test verilerinin analizi sonucunda, deney grubu ile kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak bir fark tespit edilememiştir. Bu araştırmada elde edilen veriler ışığında; ortaokul 7.sınıf öğrencilerine İnsan ve Çevre ünitesinin öğretiminde akıllı tahta kullanımının akademik başarıyı artırdığı ve öğrenilen bilgilerin hatırlanmasının daha kolay gerçekleştiği sonucuna ulaşmıştır. Ancak akıllı tahta kullanımın öğrencilerin çevreye karşı tutumlarını geliştirmede etkili olamadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, the effect of intelligent board usage in the 7th grade Human and Environmental unit was investigated on the academic success of the students, their attitude toward the environment and their recall levels. For research; two middle schools were used in Konya province Hadim District. One of the schools was chosen as the control group and the other was chosen as the experimental group. The Unit Success Test and the Environmental Attitude Scale were used as data collection tools. For 4 weeks, the students in the control group processed the Human and Environmental unit according to the traditional methods while the students in the experimental group were processed using the same unit smart board activities. Tests prepared to measure group cohesion were applied as pre-test. After the application was over, the same tests were applied as post-tests to measure the successes and attitudes of both groups. Finally, the same test was applied as a recall test 3 weeks later to measure how much of the learned information was remembered. In addition, the Environmental Attitude Scale was applied as a pre-test to determine the students' attitudes toward the environment before the application started. After the application was completed, the same test was applied as a post-test to determine the students' attitudes towards the environment. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS 22 statistical package program and t-test was used in the evaluation of the obtained data.In this study comprised of quantitative data on the results of the analysis of the data obtained in academic achievement between the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group in favor of the students it was identified as statistically significant difference. Furthermore, according to the results of the application recall test, the recall rate of the students in the experimental group is higher than the students in the control group. In addition, as a result of the analysis of the Environmental Attitude Scale post-test data, no statistically significant difference was found between the experimental group and the control group. In the data obtained in this study; To the 7th grade students of the junior high school, the use of intelligent board in the teaching of the Human and Environmental unit has achieved academic success and easier to remember learned information. However, it has been found that the use of smart boards has not been effective in improving students' attitudes towards the environment.
