Özet

Öğretmenlerin sınıf içi/dışı teknoloji kullanımlarındaki bilgi ve beceri düzeyleri teknoloji kullanma durumlarını olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Özellikle değişen teknolojik süreçler eğitim öğretim süreçlerinde de etkisini hissettirmekle birlikte bazı değişimleri zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu süreçte en önemli etkenlerden birisi bu teknoloji etkili biçimde kullanacak olan öğretmenlerdir. Bu araştırmanın amacı de sınıf öğretmenlerinin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumları ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Bu amaçla sınıf öğretmenlerinin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumları ve mesleğe yönelik tutumları çeşitli değişkenler açısından betimlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumları ile mesleğe yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişkiler etkili olabileceği düşünülen bazı bağımsız değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, gelir durumu, görevdeki unvan, mesleki kıdem, medeni durum, bilgisayar sertifikasına sahip olma-olmama durumu, yöneticilerle olan ilişkiler) açısından irdelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel veriler yoluyla sınıf öğretmenlerinin teknolojiye ve mesleğe yönelik tutumları betimlenmiş ve bu değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler yordanmıştır. Bu anlamda araştırmada hem tarama (survey) hemde korelasyonel araştırma niteliğindedir. Çalışmanın sınırlandırılmış evrenini Kırşehir ili merkez okullarında çalışmakta olan sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu evrenden rastgele yolla seçilen 195 sınıf öğretmeni çalışma örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen nicel veriler yüzde, frekans değerleri ile birlikte ikili değişkenler için bağımsız t-testi, üç ve fazlası değişkenler için tek yönlü varyans analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda görevdeki unvan, mesleki kıdem, ücret memnuniyeti, yöneticilerle olan ilişki değişkenlerinde katılımcıların öğretmenlik mesleği üzerinde etkisinin olduğu görülürken, cinsiyet, yaş, bilgisayar sertifikasına sahip olma, medeni durum değişkenleri arasında katılımcıların öğretmenlik mesleği üzerinde anlamlı bir ilişkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları ile öğretmenliğe ilişkin öz yeterlik algıları arasındaki ilişki anlamlıdır. Katılımcıların eğitimde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik tutumları incelendiğinde ise yaş, görevdeki unvan, mesleki kıdem, bilgisayar sertifikasına sahip olma, ücret memnuniyeti, yöneticilerle olan ilişki değişkenlerin anlamlı olduğu görülürken, cinsiyet, medeni durum değişkenlerin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi görülmemiştir. Mesleğe yönelik tutum düzeyleri yüksek olan sınıf öğretmenlerin eğitimde teknolji kullanımı ile ilgili tutum düzeyleri de yüksek olacağı, aynı şekilde mesleğe yönelik tutum düzeyi düşük olan sınıf öğretmenlerin eğitimde teknoloji kullanma düzeylerinin de düşük olacağı yordanmıştır.

The basic objective of the research is to examine the relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the use of technology in education with their attitudes towards teaching profession in terms of various variables. To this end in the first dimension, the relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the use of technology and their attitudes towards the profession is analyzed. Whereas in the second dimension the technology attitudes are examined in terms of some independent variables (gender, age, professional seniority, marital status) which is considered as they might affect the attitudes of the teachers towards the use of technology and at the same time also the relationship between the attitutude levels of the teachers towards teaching profession is examined in terms of these variables. Especially the level of perception of the classroom teachers is a positive factor in their in-class/out-of-class technology uses. In this study where the relationship between the level of attitudes of classroom teachers regarding the use of technology in education and their attitudes towards the profession is examined, the attitudes of the participants towards the teaching profession and their attitudes towards their use of technology in education is investigated according to various socio - demographic variables. As a result of the study, while a positive affect of job title, professional seniority, wage satisfaction, the relationship with the managers variable is observed on the teaching profession of the participants and it seems that there is no meaningful relation of the gender, age, having a computer certificate, marital status, relationship with the managers variable on the teaching profession. As a result of the study, there seems to have a meaningful relationship between the attitudes of classroom teachers towards the teaching profession with the self-efficacy perceptions related to teachership. When the attitudes of the participants towards technology use in education were examined, there seems to have a meaningful relationship of the age, occupational title, professional seniority, having a computer certificate, wage satisfaction, the relationship with the managers variable on the use of technology in the education and there seems to have no meaningful affect of the gender, marital status variable on the use of technology in the education. There seems to have a meaningful relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the teachership profession and self-efficacy perceptions related to the teachership.
