Özet
16.Yüzyıl hem dünya ekonomisi hem de Osmanlı ekonomisi açısından oldukça önemli siyasi ve ekonomik gelişmelerin yaşandığı bir dönem olmuştur. Coğrafi keşifler sonucu ortaya çıkan yeni ve bereketli toprakların etkisiyle Avrupa'nın değişmeye başlayan iktisadi yapısı, topraklarını genişletmeyi amaçlayan Osmanlı Devleti ve Kutsal Roma İmparatorluğu'nun siyasi ve iktisadi mücadelesi döneme damgasını vurmuştur. Amerika kıtasının keşfedilmesiyle birlikte Avrupa'ya ve ardından Osmanlı Devleti'ne yayılan kıymetli madenler ulaştıkları ülkelerde çeşitli sorunlara neden olmuştur. Bu sorunların başında enflasyon gelmektedir. 16.Yüzyıl süresince ortaya çıkan enflasyonun nedenlerine ilişkin çeşitli görüşler yer almaktadır. Tezin amacı Avrupa genelinde yaşanan enflasyonist sürecin Osmanlı Devleti genelinde yarattığı etki ve Konya piyasalarına nasıl ve ne ölçüde etki ettiğini tespit etmektir. Ortaya çıkan sonuçlar neticesinde enflasyonist sürecin hangi nedenlerden kaynaklandığını ve Konya ekonomisinde ne gibi sonuçlara yol açtığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla tezin birinci bölümünde Fiyat Devrimi ve nedenleri üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde dönem itibariyle Osmanlı ekonomisinin kurumları ve ekonomik yapısı ortaya konmuştur. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise Konya'da enflasyonist sürecin nasıl seyrettiği ve şehirde fiyatların artış sürecinden nasıl etkilendiği tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT The 16th century has been a time of great political and economic development both in terms of world economy and Ottoman economy. After the geographical discoveries, the economic structure of Europe which started to change with the influence of new and fertile lands hit the political and economic struggle of the Ottoman Empire and the Holy Roman Empire, aiming to expand their territories. With the discovery of the American continent, precious metals spread to Europe and then to the Ottoman Empire caused various problems in the countries they had reached. Inflation is the most important one of these problems. There are various opinions about the causes of inflation that occurred during the 16th century. The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of the inflationary process in Europe on Ottoman Empire and how and how much it affects the market of Konya. In the light of the consequences, it is tried to show what causes the inflationist process and the effects on Konya economics. For this purpose, the first part of the thesis focused on the price revolution and its reasons. In the second chapter, the institutions and economic structure of the Ottoman economy were revealed by the same period. In the third and last section, it is determined how the inflationary process is observed in Konya and how the prices are affected by the increase process in the city.
