Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Mardin ilindeki kuş varlığını ortaya çıkarmaktı. 2 yıl süren arazi çalışmaları sonucunda 18 takım içerisinde yer alan 44 familya ait 151 kuş türü tespit edildi. Belirlenen bu kuşlardan 150'si tür ve 1'i alttür düzeyindedir. IUCN kriterlerine göre alanda varlığı belirlenen kuş türlerinin statüleri; 1 Endangered (EN), 2 Vulnerable (VU), 6 Near Threatened (NT), 140 Least Concern (LC) ve 2 tür ise liste kapsamına girmemektedir. BERN kriterlerine göre 104 tür Ek liste II içinde, 37 tür Ek liste III içinde ve 10 tür ise liste kapsamına girmemektedir. Merkez Av Komisyonu Kararları (MAKK) güncel listesi ile yapılan kıyaslamada alanda tespit edilen türlerden 24'ü Ek liste I'de, 20'si Ek liste II'de ve 107'si ise liste kapsamı dışında kalmaktadır. Biyolojik materyallerin ticaret kurallarını belirleyen CITES'e göre tespit edilen türlerin 19'u Ek liste II içinde yer alırken, geriye kalan 132 tür listenin kapsamı dışındadır. Alanda yaşayan kuş türlerinin Bölge Statüsü durumu incelendiğinde 14 türün Kış Ziyaretçisi (KZ), 26 türün Transit (T), 59 türün Yerli (Y) ve 52 türün ise Yaz Göçmeni (YG) olduğu görüldü. Yerli ve göçmen türler araştırma alanında veya çevresinde üreyen türlerdir. Bu durumda 111 tür Mardin il sınırları içinde üremektedir. Bu sayı gözlenen türlerin %73.5'sini teşkil etmektedir. Bu sonuç başta Mardin olmak üzere alanın kuş türlerinin üremesi bakımından önemini açıkça ortaya koymaktadır.

The purpose of this study was to investigate presence of bird species in the Mardin. It lasted for two years. As a result of observations, 151 species of birds belonging to 44 families in 18 orders were detected. Among these detected, 150 were species and 1 was a subspecies. According to the IUCN criteria the statuses of the detected species of bird were as the following: 1 Endangered (EN), 2 Vulnerable (VU), 6 Near Threatened (NT), 140 Least Concern (LC) and while 2 were not in scope of listing. According to the BERN criteria, 104 species were listed in Appendix II and 37 were listed in Appendix III, while 10 were not in scope of listing. In the comparison made with the Central Hunting Commission Decisions (MAKK) current list, 24 were listed in Appendix I and 20 were listed in Appendix II, while 107 were not in scope of listing. According to CITES, which regulates the rules of trade for biological materials, 19 of the detected species were listed in Appendix II, while the remaining 132 were not in scope of listing. Considering the Regional Status cases of the bird species living in the area, 14 were winter visitors (WV), 26 were passage migrants (PM), 59 were resident species (RS) and 52 were summer migrant. Resident and migrant species are species that reproduced in the research area and its surroundings. In this case, 111 species reproduce in the Muş Plain and around. This number constitutes 73.5% of the observed species. This result clearly demonstrates the significance of the region, especially the Mardin, for reproduction of bird species.
