Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında temel müzik eğitimindeki nota öğretimi sürecinde nota süreleri ve tartımlar konusu işlenirken kullanılan mevcut yöntem ve araçlara alternatif olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş bir materyal kullanılarak deneysel bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu deneysel çalışmada kontrol grubu araştırma konusunu mevcut yöntemle işlerken deney grubu ise araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan tartım materyali ile aynı konuyu aynı zamanda işlemiştir. Araştırmada mevcut yöntemlere alternatif bir materyal ile nota süreleri ve tartımlar konusu işlenerek öğrencilerin teorik bilgi ve pratik uygulama alanındaki kazanımları ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmış ve bu kazanımlar ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler işlenerek söz konusu materyal yardımıyla gerçekleşen öğretim süreci ile söz konusu materyal kullanılmadan biline gelen yöntemle gerçekleşen öğretim süreci arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; hem mevcut biline gelen yöntem ile hem de geliştirilmiş olan tartım materyali ile aynı sürede işlenen derslerin sonunda kazanımlara dair ölçme ve değerlendirme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında öntest-sontest tekniği ile yapılan ölçme işlemi ve ham verilerin SPSS paket program yardımı ile istatistiki analizleri neticesinde öğrencilerin başarı oranları kıyaslanmış, aralarında anlamlı bir fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından tasarlanan söz konusu materyal ile eğitim almış öğrencilerin nota eğitiminde süre ve tartım konusunda mevcut biline gelen yöntemle eğitim almış öğrencilere göre daha anlamlı öğrenmeler elde ettikleri sonucuna varılmıştır.

In this master thesis, an experimental study had been proceeded by using an original new material developed by the researcher, which is supposed to be an alternative for the traditional methods and tools have been used for teaching note durations and meters in the basic music education. In this experimental study, the treatment group used the meter material developed by the researcher, while the control group used the traditional method. In the research, students' acquirements in theoretical knowledge and practical application had been conceived by using an alternative material in the lesson instead of the traditional method; the acquirements had been measured and the collected data was discussed on the question whether any significant difference between the new material and the traditional method exist. Consequently, measurement and evaluation had been proceeded after the lessons of two groups in the same duration: the control group using the traditional method and the treatment group using the new meter material. In consideration of the gained data, the consequence of the process done by pretest technic showed that the there was a significant difference between the two groups on the students' success ratio: In duration and meter on note education, the students using the new material had learned significantly more than the other group and were more successful in comparison to the other group.
