Özet
Bu tezin temel amacı, Merleau-Ponty'nin fenomenolojisinde beden ve sanat ilişkisini ortaya koymaktır. Felsefe tarihinde arka planda kalmış bedenselliğin fenomenoloji içinde kendine yer buluşunu ve“beden”in sanatla ilişkiselliğine odaklanılacaktır. Konuyu ele alırken Merleau-Ponty düşüncesinin şekillenmesinde etkili olmuş filozofların görüşlerine kısaca değinildikten sonra Merleau-Ponty fenomenolojisi ana hatlarıyla ele alınıp sanat ve bedenin birbirine geçişimi işlenecektir.

The purpose of this thesis is to focus on the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty and to handle the concept of corporeality which takes place in phenomenology and to describe the relationship between body and art. When contextualising, it is mentioned the philosophers' thoughts who influence Merleau-Ponty. Then Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology with the main lines and incorporation of art and body will be discussed.
