Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkçeye aktarılmış aynı hikâyenin iki farklı çevirisinin yaratıcılık, eşdeğerlik, yerelleştirme kavramları bağlamında incelenerek, hedef metinlerde farklı ifadelerle anlamın yeniden üretilmesi sürecini ortaya koymak, bu süreçte oluşan sorunları tespit ederek çözüm önerileri sunmak ve karşılaştırmalı bir çeviri çözümlemesi yapmaktır. İnceleme sonucunda yaratımın hedef dilin yapısına ve anlamına uygunluk açısından ve metnin metinsel bütünlüğünü korumak amacıyla gerekli olduğu, kaynak metinde yer alan kimi zaman bir sözcük, bir cümle ya da bir söz öbeğinin hedef metinler de yeniden yaratım yoluyla ifade edildiğini tespit ettik. Çevirmenlerin yaratım kavramı bağlamında deyimlerden yararlandıklarını ortaya koyduk. Sadece sözlüklerde olmayan, yaşayan Türkçede kullanılan deyimler tercih edilmiş olsa da hedef kitle okuyucularının yaş aralığı göz önüne alındığında anlamı zorlaştırabileceği, akıcılığı olumsuz etkileyebileceği kanısına varmaktayız. Olumlu tarafı ise, çocukların hikâyeyi okurken deyimleri de öğrenebilecek olmalarıdır.

The aim of this study is to investigate the process of reproducing the meaning of different expressions in the target text by examining the two different translations of the same narrative in the context of creativity, equivalence and localization concepts and to propose solutions to the problems in this process by analyzing and making a comparative translation analysis. As a result of the examination it has been found that the creation is needed in terms of the suitability to the target language's structure and meaning for the preservation of its textual integrity. We determined that sometimes a word, a sentence or a phrase in the source text is reproduced in the target text. We have shown that translators make use of idioms in the context of creation. Although the idioms used in the living Turkish languages, which are not only in the dictionaries are preferred, when the age interval of the the target audience is taken into account, we reach the conclusion that it can make undestanding more difficult and also can negatively affect the fluency. The positive side is that children can learn the idioms while they are reading the story.
