Özet
Bu çağda yoksulluk, yalnızca az gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerin değil aynı zamanda gelişmiş ülkelerin de güncel problemi olmaya devam etmektedir. Bu problem toplumun çeşitli kesimlerini farklı boyutlarda etkilemektedir. Yoksulluk, süregelen toplumsal değişimler ve küresel etkiler sebebiyle hanehalkının yapısında da önemli değişimler meydana gelmiş ve çocuğun bakımından sadece bir kişinin (çoğunlukla annenin) sorumlu olduğu aile biçimi olarak tanımlanabilecek tek ebeveynli ailelerin sayısında artış gözlemlenmiştir. Tek ebeveynli olmak, yoksulluğun başını çektiği bir dizi sorunu daha da karmaşık hale getiren, tetikleyen bir olgu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Çocuklar, hanede yaşanan bu dönüşümden çok fazla etkilenmekte, yoksul ve huzursuz bir hane ortamında büyüyen çocuklar, bir taraftan eğitim, sağlık, beslenme vb. sorunlarla mücadele etmek zorunda kalırken, diğer taraftan dışlanma, şiddet ve sömürüye maruz kalmaktadır. Ayrıca yoksul hanede büyüyen çocukların sorunları çoğu kez yetişkinlik döneminde yaşayacakları sorunların da habercisi olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; tek ebeveynli ailelerdeki çocuk yoksulların sorunlarını tespit etmek suretiyle, bu aile tipindeki çocukların özelinde çocuk yoksulların tümüne yönelik hizmetlerin geliştirebilmesi için oluşturulacak politikalara ve çözüm önerilerine bir nebze de olsa ışık tutabilmek ve veri sunabilmek amaçlanmaktadır.

Nowadays, poverty continues to be the current problem of not only the underdeveloped and developing countries but also of the developed countries. This problem has effects with different dimensions at the various classes of the society. Due to the poverty, continual social changes and global influences, significant changes have occurred in the structure of the household and an increase has been observed in the number of single-parent families that can be defined as the family form in which only one person (mostly the mother) is responsible for the child. Being single-parent is a phenomenon that triggers a series of problems that lead to poverty. Being single-parent confronts us as a phenomenon that triggers and make it more complicate for a series of problems which was led by poverty. Children who are deeply affected by this transformation in the household, grow up in a poor and anxious house habitat, are on one hand faced with the problems of education, health, nutrition etc., on the other hand they are exposed to exclusion, violence and exploitation. In addition, the problems of children growing up in the poor households are often a sign of the problems that they will face during their adulthood. In this study; by identifying the problems of child-poor in single-parent families, it is aimed to illuminate and submit data on the policies and solution proposals that will be formed in order to develop services for all children of the poor in this family type.
