Özet
Bu çalışmada İslam düşüncesinde bir sufi, bir kelamcı, bir mantıkçı ve aynı zamanda önemli bir felsefe tenkitçisi olan Gazali ile Çağdaş Fransız filozofu Henri Bergson'un sezgi konusundaki fikirleri Gazali'de ilahi çerçevede, Henri Bergson'da metafiziksel boyutta anlaşılır hale getirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Gazali tüm konuları ele alış tarzında olduğu gibi, sistemciliğini ve orijinalliğini sezgi konusunu ele alışıyla da göstermiştir. Gazali sezgi metodunu çok çeşitli boyutlarıyla açıklamış; sezginin tanım ve izahından, tasavvuf ve bilgide sezginin önemine değin Tanrısal boyutta dikkat çekmiştir. Çağdaş Fransız filozofu Henri Bergson ise felsefesinin çıkış noktası olan sezgi metodunun“yaşam”ve“süre”konusu içerinde nasıl ele almış ve bu düşünceyi bilimsel bilgiyi de de bir kenara atmadan yaşam felsefesinde metafiziksel boyutta anlaşılır hale getirmeyi hedeflemiştir. Bu hedef ekseninde, sezgi metodunun anlaşılması için Henri Bergson'un bilim-metafizik, zaman-süre, zekâ-sezgi ve madde- yaşam düalitelerinden hareket edilmiştir. Bu tezin amacı, sezgi konusunu, genel hatlarıyla ele alıp, düşüncelerini incelediğimiz Gazali ve Henri Bergson'un bu konu içindeki yerlerini belirlemek ve her iki filozofun da fikri etkilerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Her iki önemli filozofun da tüm düşünceleri bu konular çerçevesinde ele alınmış ve sezginin kapsayıcılığı noktasında önemine vurgu yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, bilimin, zekânın, aklın, deneyin, maddi hayat üzerinde başarılar elde edebileceği ancak değeri ve sınırı bakımından yaşam söz konusu olduğunda tek başlarına yeterli olamayacağı, bu noktada da hayatı anlamak için metod olarak sezginin de esas alınması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu konuya özellikle İslam ve Batı karşılaştırılması odaklı, felsefî ve teolojik boyutlu yaklaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu yönüyle çalışma daha çok sezgi konusunun bir sentezi niteliği taşımaktadır.

In this study, ideas of Ghazali ,who is a Sufi, a theologian, a logician and also an important philosopher in the Islamic thought, and Contemporary French philosopher Henri Bergson on the intuition is tried to be understood in divine frame in terms of Ghazali and in the metaphysical dimension in terms of Henri Bergson. Ghazali has shown his systemicism and authenticity in his handling of intuition, as well as his handling of all issues. Ghazali explained his intuition method in a wide variety of dimensions which is from the definition and explanation of intuition, to the importance of intuition in mysticism and knowledge. On the other hand, the contemporary French philosopher Henri Bergson aimed to taking the intuition method which is the starting point of his philosophy within the subject of“life”and“duration”and making this idea understandable in metaphysical dimension in philosophy of life without throwing scientific knowledge aside. In this regard, Henri Bergson's science-metaphysics, time-duration, intelligence-intuition and matter-life dualities were studied in order to make the intuition method understandable. The aim of this thesis is to handle the term of intuition in general and determine the place of Ghazali and Henri Bergson in this subject and to reveal the intellectual effects of both philosophers. All the thoughts of the two important philosophers have been discussed within the framework of these issues and the importance of intuition on inclusiveness was emphasized. In this study, it is seen that science, intelligence, reason and experiment can achieve success on the material life, but it cannot be sufficient alone when it comes to life in terms of value and limit and at this point, it has been concluded that intuition and divine dimension also should be taken as the method to understand life. This subjecthas been tried to be approached with philosophical and theological dimensions focusing on comparison between Islam and the West. In this respect, the study is more a synthesis of intuition.
